@bl0rkatr0n Whoa.. you got back to me fast thanks. anywho what do you mean enough rights? PS: you can slap me if that is a computer slang that I haven't picked up on.
By rights I mean the permissions you have on the system.
For instance, an administrator has the most rights. Normal users should have less rights. That might be what's blocking you from playing.
You could try holding ctrl and then right-clicking the catplanet.exe.
An entry named 'Run as Administrator' should show up. When you click it, you'll probably be greeted with a password prompt, or a question box asking if you're sure.
@bl0rkatr0n Oh yeah that rights okay anyway I'll have to try that, right now I click it and click run and then it stops responding and closes. I mean I don't have an old computer by any means it is only like a year old and I can run portal and other big games so I'll have to try your advice I'll message back if it works or not. thanks
I tried to download it didn't work.does it not on vista?

@Phantomboy98043 That's strange, it should work.
I don't have the means of testing right now, but Jay is Games confirms it should work on Vista.
Are you sure you have enough rights?
Or maybe you could try setting it to run in a Windows XP compatibility mode.
I may be able to test it on Vista this weekend, I'll get back to you if it requires jumping through hoops to get running.

@bl0rkatr0n Type in your password/click to accept and it should start with Administrator privileges.
If it doesn't, you should try the compatibility mode, which you can set somewhere in the properties of the .exe.
By the way, you should be careful about executing stuff as Admin all nilly willy.
Sometimes programs aren't as friendly as they seem. And it's often not necessary at all.

@Phantomboy98043 Welp, I just tried it on a Vista machine and it runs fine without any shenanigans.
Are you sure you downloaded the latest version?
And even then, try downloading it again.
Maybe your download got corrupted.
And I guess you could also try to actually extract all files from the .zip instead of letting Windows do its acting like it's a normal folder thing.
