Danced to this in the basement night club of the Silver Spring Hotel in Nairobi on August 1, 1982, on the night/morning of the attempted coup by the Kenyan Air force. Had no idea what was going on in the nearby military barracks.
Fondly remember this record back in 1980 and duly went out and bought the 12inch single. Fabulous piece of old 'African Style Jazzfunk' by Manu Dibango from all those years ago. Played at the 'Soul All Dayers' and 'Clubs' at the time in the UK mainly London and the surrounding Home Counties. A superb upload.
