I have played live a lot. Day after Day after Day your voice is so strained its ridiculous and you can barely even talk. He holds his head up to hit the higher notes because its easier. I'm not hating in any way whatsoever. I don't think they suck live at all...

while i do agree with you that it def takes it toll. . . . i am a classically trained singer and i know of a bunch of rock artists who are and they rarely have an issue . If your going to be a front man for a well respected band there is really no excuse for sounding as bad as he does sometimes. . . . . all that being said i do love this band
