In bluefields we DO NOT speak Jamaican Patio. we speak a carribean dialect resembling patio however it is slower than that of jamican patio. First and foremost bluefields is just as part of nicaragua as is part of carribean culture. In bluefields we DO NOT speak Jamaican Patio. we speak a carribean dialect resembling patio however it is slower than that of jamican patio. Though we may have mostly the same expressions it is not the same dialect in addition though people in bluefields may try to be jamaican, when they come to states they quickly see that being nicaraguan is much better than being a jamaican. For, the national government in Managua has never cared enough about the material and human development of the Atlantic coast in demonstrable actions and in deeds. A strong component of the Afro-Nicaraguan population of Nicaragua indeed owes its existence to the many Jamaican indentured workers who came to Nicaragua during the later part of the 19th century to work on the banana plantations. Others came from Barbados, St Lucia, and the Cayman Islands.

I am Nicaraguan & I also didn't understand the lyrics of this song. I've also traveled to Jamaica. Nicaragua isn't in the Caribbean. It's in Central America. You know this since you were also born in Nicaragua, correct? The Caribbean's composed of Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic, among other ISLANDS. You also make it sound like one can simply just travel to Jamaica to learn from experience as if it currently costs pennies 2 purchase fares.
