Gary's grandson is in the film, his granddaughters are mentioned and are in the first one, and Hector's (Joe) granddaughter is seen in the first one playing the Prime Minister's daughter. LOL. A lot of relative cameos. Anne Hathaway's mom even plays the orchestra leader and Gary Marshall's daughter is Charlotte, the assistant. :) x

The movie if I remember was kinda so so as a whole to me compared to the original which I kind of liked, but I did love this scene. Yes Julie Andrews may have neede dsurgery and doesn't sound quite as good as she used to, but she still looks and sounds stunning! Besides it was 36 years afte stuff liek Sound of Music. NO ONE sounds like they did in their thirties when their in their 70's. But she sure does sound better than most probably do. SHe really steals the show here.

why is everyone trying to compare raven with julie?

you just cannot do that. raven is a minor singer with a good, but otherwise common voice. while miss andrews remains one of the most sublime entertainers of all time.

and please do not compare their singing, due to the fact that they are 50 years apart in age.
