The government and DEA are hard headed. They're greedy republicans. They wont listen. They don't think 10 billion dollars per year revenue from a single state is better than SPENDING 10 billion dollars per year on Marijuana alone. And it's a failed prohibition....and yet they continue to increase our national deficit and spend, spend, spend. FUCK. LEGALIZE. God damn.
Merinol is VERY fucking expensive and contains almost the same ingredients as marijuana.. so how can it be legal and approved by the FDA when it's counterpart marijuana is illegal and is still a Schedule 1 drug.
The reefer madness has gone on long enough. Its all bullshit and now everyone knows. The health care bill has just been past, so let's let the government know what we want done with OUR tax dollars since they felt good enough to give it to people who dont give a shit about us. LEGALIZE

Thank you guys for doing your best to change the crazy drug laws in this country. I hope one day I can smoke a bowl on back porch with out the fear of being arrested for making a decision that only affects me and myself only.
I think it would somewhat stem the growth of the hard drug markets as well if it takes the only drug the typical kid would ever consider doing away from the dealers. Could legalization of marijuana, enhanced focus on factual drug education in high school and available detox(not rehab..) facilities for addicts fix the drug problem?

I agree, b/c marijuana is only a gateway drug to harder drugs b/c it is illegal. In places where it is legal, marijuana use does not lead to harder drug use like it does in places where it is illegal.
I wonder when it will have reached the point where we won't be able to legalize marijuana, not because it would be too politically risky, but because the cartels would immediately kill the entire family of whoever voted for it.

I agree, b/c marijuana is only a gateway drug to harder drugs b/c it is illegal. In places where it is legal, marijuana use does not lead to harder drug use like it does in places where it is illegal.
