Cyborg, yes. But he happens to be a full-body cyborg, meaning mechanical nerve-like apparati. So, to that extent, it is merely a simple matter of reprogramming his nerve endings to receive speech signals as musical signals instead. It would be a bit tricky, but it COULD be done.
