Ok so i have every part except one of this song down to perfection....the little sweep picking part from 12-14 seconds. How can i perfect this part?? i always find myself hitting the wrongs strings on this part. Anyone feel free to answer if you can help me.

@TH3xFaNt4sY its not so much a sweep as it is just barring the strings and going up... well, i guess it is a sweep, but you dont need to fret each string with a new finger, just use the same finger.

you can watch my rendition, it might help a little. i play it a little differently than this guy.

To have a good Muse sound you must have a distortion called "Fuzz", i've also used a little of reverb in this video ^^

His standard 'distortion' is the Fuzz Factory. He just doesn't use its oscillation to its full capabilities much.

IT IS NOT THE FUZZ FACTORY! He only uses it for a couple of songs. He uses his Diezel VH4 and Marshall DSL-100 for distortion.

Anyways, I don't know what you've seen, but pictures I've seen have a Vox, Marshall, and Diezel stacked up.

His marshall is for distortion and cleans, Diezel for heavy distortion and his AC30 for cleaner cleans :D
