  • OMG, i'm really dizzy from watching that!!

  • Do you have the next segment? *is currious about where the puppy was stuck*

  • I think basckit13 uploaded that one. The puppy was stuck in a sewer pipe.

  • Hand gestures: #603-709 shatner had the hands together position as to greet someone, are there others that have this?

  • i love the old scool waverunner.... like a 70's model ha ha thats cool

  • Oops, that was a "do the rescuer a favor" not "to the rescuer a favor"

  • Damn I hate parents that cry so easily.... Usually means they panic/freak out when their kids are in danger or are injured.

If you're the type of parent I just described, if your kid ever gets hurt to the rescuers a HUGE favor and get away from us.... Your panic makes the kids panic and makes our job much harder and distracted EMT's is not something you want when your kid's life is on the line.

  • I have to agree. People spazzing out while trying to do patient assesment and treatment just makes things about 20 times harder

  • What the hell. There was a cameraman in the boat why didn't he stop the boat?

  • it was a re-enactment

  • idiots driving a boat with no kill cord connected! well done to the pwc driver though, he did have the sense to use a kill cord

  • I'm Glad he was saved but that cheering sounded fake

  • So glad they got the kid out. He must have been really scared.

  • matt must have grown up to be a great guy and maybe a wonderful and amazing father

  • My Ex girlfriend husband was killed by a boat propeller when he fell out of the boat but that Is what happens when the false government that thermate the world trade centers give money to corporations that build things wrong.

  • Why didn't the kid turn the engine off like Matt did?Thats what I would do if I was in a boat and my parents were thrown into the water by a wake.

  • Well maybe the kid was only like 4-5 years old and he didnt know how to turn it off..

  • he was a toddler he prolly didnt know how to turrn off the engine

  • Kids his age dont know how to turn off engines...So STFU.

  • Awesome dude I'd like to meet him and shake his hand myself

  • good episode!

  • That guy was awesome! He put himself in danger to save a little boy he didnt know. :3

  • Nostalgia

  • great job with that WXR pro Wave Runner

  • Does anyone know a show similar to this because I have seen almost every episode posted on You tube for this show

  • Should have had a "dead-man" switch.

  • okay and how is this story 911 related?

  • Matt is a badass!!! Really cute too. I salute you!!!

  • fukken lol'd

  • very goods videos friend, five stars

    bye

  • that 17 year old is cute lmfao.. but damn i feel srry for that family =\

  • That guys got a kick ass mullet

  • "Off into the sunset" sound like the end of a western with the hero riding away in the desert.

  • this was a great story and it will be a lesson to me to becarfule and not fuck up

  • I like the superliminal advertising of that snack shop sign... EAT

  • is he a stunt man now??

  • in 3 hours the boat would of hit something for sure, awesome job by the kid on the waverunner

  • at least this is better than watching someone getting sucked into a turbofan jet engine well i guess if you really brake it down i wouldnt want wither of those to happen to anyone

  • That teenager who saved that baby is a hero! What a sweet guy!

  • and so cute

  • gas to miss the boat gas

  • they should have just waited for the gas to run out and just monitor it at a safe distance, 3 hours isnt that long.

  • In three hours the boat could have eventually stopped circling and run into something.

  • and plus the little boy in there,

  • But the boat probably would've run into something by then. In that situation, waiting isn't an option.

  • this happened the day i was born

  • I think thats only the date it aired

  • *kindly* I didn't know the man who was the

    stepfather of his stepson.

  • preety kewl

  • well i guess this is why they got the kill switch lanyards now were you dont get cuaght up in the cyrcle of death.

  • that renactment was aswesome when they were thrown out

  • holy batman!! wow, everyone but the kid falls off at the same time lol

  • aww that young hero is a cutie

  • uhh, because he didn't want to die, if a 2-3 year old jumps he is dead, duhhh!

I would hate to be him.

  • why the fuck didnt the kid just jump off...

  • because they were yelling at him not too?

  • If he had jumped out, he probably would have been hit by the circling boat, plus it was going very fast for a child to jump out of.

  • And the kid was only 3...how could a little preschooler survive jumping off a boat going at 70-80 mph?

  • That boat was going in sharp circles. It wasn't going 70-80 mph. Maybe doing 20. What made it dangerous was that it was it was going in sharp unpredictable circles.

  • first of all he is a 3 yrs old. he cant swim.

second that boat was running and has a engine. which could run him over and instantly kill him since he is very small.

    dumbass its called common sense!

  • Look at the world around you. If you honestly think that common sense is common, look up the Darwin Awards and read some of the things that people have done.

Also, I know lots of 3 year olds that CAN swim, they can ski, snowboard and swim. I've seen 2 year olds that can swim and do all that other stuff too. Those are bit rarer but I've seen them. Don't judge what someone can do by their age. The danger of the boat's prop is correct. Props + people = bad.

  • Common sense isn't all that common...

  • wats the next one

  • A puppy falls into a sewer pipe.

  • wow that boy have nerves of steel. anyone know if he's a stuntman now?

  • Dont boats in Arkansas have a killswitch lanyard? The parents should be jailed!

  • that boy is like a hero.

  • great video bring rescue 11 out on dvd and back on the air.

  • well i must say ,as a 38 yr old male

Matt your a tru mans man ,i wish you the best of luck in your life ..it even brought a lil tear to my eye (shhhhhh)

  • hahaha!!! Cezie2006. I am not far from that age, male and I to cried. Hahaha!!! Great Video...

  • I am a guy in late 30s and I just cried like a baby watching this outstanding video. WoW!!! What a horror situation. I have a boat and am wondering what happened with the emergency engine cut-out switch. Was there one fitted if so did switch not respond correctly Or was it not connected? Great to see no-one was hurt and a lesson for us all eh!!!

  • Matt's a real life action hero.

  • vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, rescue 911 has 435 votes

  • go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, rescue 911 has 433 votes

  • matt was hott until he took off his hat and then i'm like wtf happend??? damnn it was like he was realllyyy cute and then it shows him later and he's a biggg nerddd!!!

  • lol y dont u sut down lol!

  • jetskis r dangerous think twice b4 using 1!

  • lol

  • i remember this show would scare the shit out of me. it still looks so real

  • thats just the thing when people see people in trouble most do not think of their own safety

  • Well, sometimes it depends on this situation. If someone is trapped in a burning car or in the path of an oncoming train, people are usually less willing to help out. There was this one segment were a man was trapped in his burning car after a wreck, and this woman pulled him out by herself because no one in the crowd was brave enough to help her. Then there was this other one where someone passed out on the subway tracks, and only three people out of the crowd jumped on the tracks to help.

  • Good call about that subway track hero, David. If I can recall correctly, the hero's name is Wesley Autrey. Man, if only they would bring R911 back, wouldn't that New York City subway tracks rescue make a good incident to focus for the show?

  • haha....he must've had a warrant...lol

  • wut they do to the boat? i woulda sold that. bad memories. and that 17 year old kid probably had a warrant..lol j/k. gj guys.

  • dang water police i think someone ate some bitter or sour grapes sheeshs where were they when help was really needed? lmfao

  • At the donut shop!

  • that was actually a pretty good reenactment

  • Any idiot could see that this was going to happen considering the irresponsible speeds this guy was doing. If he was being sensible and driving the boat for the conditions the wake shouldnt have mattered and they would have sailed over the top of it, I hope he was never allowed near a boat again - dickhead

  • were killcords not invented back then??

  • Perhaps, perhaps not...and even if there was a kill cord in the runaway boat, I doubt the little 3-year-old would've been strong enough to yank it by himself

  • It was lucky that Matt was there to save the day. I wonder if they could have thrown netting in the water to tangle up the motor to stop the boat.

  • I don't know much about boat motors, but that sounds like a good idea.

  • nice mullet, hick

  • Mat should be old enough by now, someone buy that dude a beer!

  • the patrol guy was an idiot in saying anyone on a watercraft shouldnt do the same thing the kid did. well no shit, but under these cercumstances he did what he had to do, and became a hero. damn water patrol!! they just want to take all the credit themselves!!

  • that is some crazy shit, dude mat is my hero yo!

  • Wow! Did anyone notice the mullet on that dude...precious

  • They are lucky:

    1) they were not injured by the boat or its propeller while they were in the water,

    2) the boat did circles far from the shores/bridge...

    3) this incredible boy was round here.

  • That was really nice... BUT.... that cannot have been filmed so well.. that must have been a re-inactment.. it was a bit dangerous to re-inact just for TV don't you think?

  • Rescue 911 usually does re-enactments like this with stunt people. I don't see why it was more dangerous to film this for TV than stunts on other shows.

  • Haha, I kinda found humorous that the lake enforcement patrol officer sounded a bit bitter and maybe even a little resentful that a young civilian pulled off the rescue, and not the lake patrol. By the way he said that Matt shouldn't have done it on a wave runner sort of made me think, "Hmm, a little jealous, aren't we? Maybe if you guys had shown up earlier, you could've saved lil Michael on your own!" LOL

  • shower o fandangos man! shouldnt be allowed to produce kids that ride boats han solo style

  • I always liked rescue stories like these, when a random stranger comes to the aid of folks in need. Pretty cool

  • mondi21 you r suck a neeeeeeeekkkkk

  • Learn to type, moron

  • Ur an idot how do you know they dont know perfect english or if there young or handicap u must feel pretty good.

  • Nope, it looked like a blatant insult to me

  • Not only that, the guy was dissing another commenter, so it's possible that that first class-act was also drunk or high

  • Awesome! I am an avid personal watercraft user and hope this video allows boaters to kindly respect responsible PWC riders. Thanks

  • Congratulations!

  • brillk

  • This is the heart of America for you.People like this make the world go round.

  • Put a smile to my face.
