I beat the 1rst level in GnG within 15 min. as a kid. 3rd level was tough tough . Overall I beat the game in days wiithout a cheap code or anything. Great game.
Complaining about the graphical indication that the game uses to show the gamer how many hits they have left. It's like complaining about about the fact mario shrinks after getting hit. Then not pointing out how you can unshrink which is basically what he does.

Do I think he should've admitted to using alot of material from other game reviewers when he started? Yes, especially when everyone watching was mentioning it, it should have been a very early video of his. But at the same time do I enjoy his videos along with the AVGN, HVGN, and AngryJoe? Have you noticed he (dunno if it's coincidence or not) gave a grammar check just like AVGN did in his Ghostbusters review?
I liked him when i was 8, when Bores was the first game reviewer i ever saw. Then, when i saw James Rolfe's reviews, i naturally thought that Rolfe copied Bores.
Later, I realized that it was the other way around, and that not only was the Nerd not a plagiarizing hack-fuck like Bores was, but Rolfe's acting and content were both by far superior.
Then I saw him bash Sonic Unleashed for no valid reason, and that was the final nail in the coffin.
Pretty cool video, I can't believe he was using an emulator of the arcade version, I reckon most of his fans are 9 year olds who don't notice this shit. The first ending screen in the NES version is legendary for its typo ("devisut" instead of "devised") and he didn't even show that. Also, in this game points ARE important because you get a life every 7000 points or so and oh boy do you need them.

Further evidence that he's not playing the games, unless he's using something like the retro USB controller (yes, there is such a thing). Then again, since the game is most likely played on the emulator, he has no use of the cartridge (other than bashing the game and/or legal stuff).

The real montage should have just been him sitting in front of the computer, bored as Hell and looking like a tool.
Chris Bores best review. It is one of the hardest games I have ever played. The other hard game on NES is Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels (the real Super Mario Bros. 2). The furthest I have gone was the second half of stage 2 on Ghosts n Goblins without cheating.
He honestly SHOULDN'T have done this review. He's always trying (lol not very hard) to make his reviews seem "professional", but yet he can't get past the first level in the game he's reviewing, and has to cheat and review A DIFFERENT VERSION. I mean, a normal person would review the NES version that you started with, or not fucking review it at all. It blows my mind how ridiculous this was.
The only thing Bores says right on this video is "Fuck the point system." If I ever play this game, I will disregard points and try to beat the game fairly. Remember "Fuck the point system."

Not only is Chris Bores a bad gamer and bad at using proper English apparently he can't even read correctly either. He complains about how the line "This story is a happy end" should read "This story is A happy endING" He forgot to mention "This has NOT effect" "Make Steady PROGRES" and "STRONGTH wells within you" It took me 1 day to beat this game after watching this review, mostly because of stage 3, 3 hours to beat ghouls n ghosts and super ghouls n ghosts. *Sigh* Its not that hard

Further evidence that he's not playing the games, unless he's using something like the retro USB controller (yes, there is such a thing). Then again, since the game is most likely played on the emulator, he has no use of the cartridge (other than bashing the game and/or legal stuff).

Chris Bores best review. It is one of the hardest games I have ever played. The other hard game on NES is Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels (the real Super Mario Bros. 2). The furthest I have gone was the second half of stage 2 on Ghosts n Goblins without cheating.

He honestly SHOULDN'T have done this review. He's always trying (lol not very hard) to make his reviews seem "professional", but yet he can't get past the first level in the game he's reviewing, and has to cheat and review A DIFFERENT VERSION. I mean, a normal person would review the NES version that you started with, or not fucking review it at all. It blows my mind how ridiculous this was.

Not only is Chris Bores a bad gamer and bad at using proper English apparently he can't even read correctly either. He complains about how the line "This story is a happy end" should read "This story is A happy endING" He forgot to mention "This has NOT effect" "Make Steady PROGRES" and "STRONGTH wells within you" It took me 1 day to beat this game after watching this review, mostly because of stage 3, 3 hours to beat ghouls n ghosts and super ghouls n ghosts. *Sigh* Its not that hard
