  • the 2 dislikes are from non bike lovers.....go back to your girly bikes with baskets.

  • I've got the tamron f2.8 50mm vc do you think I still need this lens for low light shots?

  • i liked the shaky hands :) this was awesome filming! :p

  • the video is great ... I have the same camera with the same lens ... really need to record good videos ... in my channel I have a test with the 550D and the 50mm 1.8. a greeting from Spain, very good video

  • can you choose the aperture and iso when recording film at 550d? because on the 500d you can't :( nice shooting, I will buy that kinda lens when I can afford it, first of all I'm going to buy a fisheye:)

  • I cried when he picked up the leaf

  • Awesome! I have a 550D too.

You can correct your "shaky hands" using a simple stabilizer in Motion (macintosh user).

Be aware that your final result is "raw". Try to pass your movie in a vintage filter (f.e.) or a Mojo. I use RedGiantLooks to do that.

    Congrats!

  • very good ! i just got this camera a few weeks ago and im barely getting to know it haha..gonna take me some time

  • 35mm is the ideal size for a 550d. 50mm is ideal size for top of the range dslr like the 7d.

  • @SuperMangn Both the 550D and the 7D have a APS-C size sensor, 1,6x , so 50mm = 80mm, 35mm = 56mm

  • nice job man !

  • Does adding a lens make the camera quality better?

  • @MrSoggypancakez If you use a lens with a wider aperture, it lets in more light so you can use a lower ISO so there is less unwanted noise on your movies, and different lenses allow for different amounts of depth of field.

  • @PeterWilliam10 does noise mean grainyness? because when i set my camera to iso 1600 i notice sort of a pixelated 'noise' like quality when shooting videos

  • @SBSlongboarding Yes. The sort of heavily pixelated or grainy images are called 'noisy'.

  • @MrSoggypancakez Yes, Imagine the lens as your eye, and the sensor as your brain, yes you may have an awesome brain, but with shitty eyes, not even the smartest person can see. Better lenses ( like L series lenses) will result in sharper, clearer images

  • @hillstudios haha thanks for the response, I myself am a proud owner of a t2i (: I plan on getting this lens soon !

  • Amazing, just amazing.

    What music is this?

  • @AldossariEOS Thanks..Dietro Casa by Ludovico Einaudi

  • Nice filming but try to find some more interesting subjects.

  • @thefamilyk Thank you

  • great choice of music, how much did that lens cost you?

  • @JackSpearBailey Thanks man, it was relatively cheap, cost £89. You can buy better quality lenses but for what I do it's fantastic value.
