Yeah, some of their new stuff is a bit lacking in comparison to the standout Hot Fuss, but somehow they still seem able to pump out some cool melodies. I prefer Day and Age over Sam's Town in this respect. Still f**ken cool musicians though I reckon.

This is still one of my favorite bands, but they are shifting to some weird kind of 80's sounding thing, losing a lot of that style that made them so great... Just my opinion. copasetic216 i totally agree. i loved this band when they released their debut "hot fuss", it was a great album with new wave influences and their own flare. i gritted my teeth and ignored the sub-par quality of the records thats came next, the killers went downhill from their first album no question, especially the lyrics

I guess that's just a matter of taste, because the style, genre of the music changed quite a bit. I loved Hot Fuss, but truly, my fave is Sam's Town, because it's more my type of music.
