lenne n shuyin's a couple from thousand years ago. their love story is about as dramatic as tidus n yuna, n shuyin looks a lot like tidus. what i dont get is tidus is also a blitzball playa, so is shuyin, n they're from the same time, so r they related or wat?

i think its almost like a reincarnation (SP??) of the couple. maybe the writers of the storyline thought that... this love that they felt(Lenne and Shuyin) shouldnt die, because there were so many things they still wanted to say (i love you)... so Tidus and Yuna were like reincarnations of the lovers, so that the feelings could be shown. idk. but this game(or rather, games lol) just has a beautiful, stunning storyline. makes me sad sometimes. i actually cried. alot. i cried during this song too.

i think it would have added the effect of them singing together is that in the last part, you plaed both japanese and english versions together. then it would seem like their singing side by side, rather than having:
