What makes me laugh about these people who come on and report/explain what happened is when they talk about the sheer weight of the top part of the building bearing down upon the rest of the structure and "it just got too much". My physics professor when I took my degree decades ago would have laughed his head off if I had come out with bull like that. Pick another angle, specifically from the west, and the video shows that the collapse was no where near symmetrical. I have no idea where this free fall BS has come from. Columns from the top hit the ground while at least 1/3 of the building still remains. The collapse races down the east face much faster than the west.

Simple physics. The top portion of the building (which was a 40 story building on its own) dropped 12 feet as a single floor collapsed from the weakened steel. Once a 40 story drops 12 feet onto the remaining building below, nothing is going to stop that energy.
People unfamiliar with these buildings do not understand the scale. A 40 story building in any city is a very large building. Just imagine someone dropping such a building 12 feet onto another building.

The Nist report is scant and many profits have been made in the war room as a result of "bad intel" being given to the public. The outer columns could not have melted or even weakened at the temperature of the fires because they were too cool. It takes over 1500 deg. to weaken that steel,

Let me add the explination: the plane didn't cause the collapse, the fire did. No explosives either.
There was NO explosion when it collapsed, it just collapsed. The plane riped off the fire/heat proof painting on the stctural metel inside the tower, the heat caused the metel to weaken, letting the top colappse down and take the tower with it. South tower went first because the plane was angeled going into it, so more floors were affected.
Controlled demos don't work this way. Go get a life.
I saw a special on the construction of the towers, and in it the original engineers even admitted that they didn't fire proof every support beam. So in truth, the planes themselves may not have even have had to rip through most of the fireproofing material. I guess you could say faulty construction was another factor, in addition to the plane's impact and burning jet fuel.

What makes me laugh about these people who come on and report/explain what happened is when they talk about the sheer weight of the top part of the building bearing down upon the rest of the structure and "it just got too much". My physics professor when I took my degree decades ago would have laughed his head off if I had come out with bull like that. So let's say you got a huge knife and sliced the building in two at that point. Does that make the top section any heavier than what it was? :-)

Pick another angle, specifically from the west, and the video shows that the collapse was no where near symmetrical. I have no idea where this free fall BS has come from. Columns from the top hit the ground while at least 1/3 of the building still remains. The collapse races down the east face much faster than the west.

Simple physics. The top portion of the building (which was a 40 story building on its own) dropped 12 feet as a single floor collapsed from the weakened steel. Once a 40 story drops 12 feet onto the remaining building below, nothing is going to stop that energy.
People unfamiliar with these buildings do not understand the scale. A 40 story building in any city is a very large building. Just imagine someone dropping such a building 12 feet onto another building.

There were eye-witness accounts that stated that there were explosions in the subbasements of both tower 1 and tower 2 up to 30 seconds before the planes hit. The way that the towers fell, it suggested a planned implosion. There is no way that jet fuel could burn hot enough to produce molten steel, which was found up to 4 weeks after the buildings collapsed. The dust samples that were taken from the sight indicated thermitic residue. This was an inside job done by OUR OWN GOVERNMENT.

@ptaaffe I don't truly know who did it. I see both sides to be honest. The 9-11 commission wasn't thorough enough and they admit that. The Nist report is scant and many profits have been made in the war room as a result of "bad intel" being given to the public. On the other hand I don't believe the Government had something to do with it wittingly, rather players within the government who knew how to work the channels of it's compartmentalization. Explosives? Buildings don't "fall down" strait.

You've already eaten the cake, you can't have it to, so look at the outcome and work backwards. We have war against "terrorists" which is anyone "suspicious". We have failure of the savings and loan industry and it's consolidations. We have failure of the auto industry and it's consolidations. We have a nation and world torn amongst themselves. @ptaaffe "Conspiracy nuts," or at least those who use science and logic to come to their conclusions, do not doubt that the destruction of the building began not at the base but at the site where the plane hit. The only "nuts" are the people who refuse to see the obvious with their own eyes: at 2:11 the top portion of the building begins to fall away at an angle; then suddenly the edge of this portion EXPLODES into dust, and continues to disintegrate as it falls toward the ground. WAKE UP

@ptaaffe How tall was the building?What point of view did Don Dahler have.Was his pov where he could see both top and bottom of the building at same time,then was able to call without a question which moved first?I call bullshit on it.I wouldnt be able to see both top and bottom at once so therefor i dont belive he was able to see and make a accurate call.SORRY

I wish Peter would live five more years in 2010 instead of 2005 because I wasn't old enough to watch "World News". Maybe if he died in 2010, Charles Gibson would be the anchor of "World News" for 3 years just like he did before he retired last December. Charles would be the anchor from 2010 to 2013. I was old enough to watch "World News with Charles Gibson" for just one whole year (2008 to 2009).

The outer columns could not have melted or even weakened at the temperature of the fires because they were too cool. It takes over 1500 deg. to weaken that steel,
the fires had black smoke, meaning they were oxygen starved, oxygen at pressure is necessary for that weakening. In 1974,
one of the towers was engulfed in flames about mid way up. Interestingly, it was John Lennon and Eliot Mintz who recorded it accidentally in '74 when they were on a boat in the harbour, shooting a short film.

Popular Mechanics debunked that moron's loose change. And those "bunch of arabs" were in this country for YEARS learning this stuff. Pilots say this was very feasible. Especially if you just want to fly; not land, not take off. Those people died horrific deaths. Stop degrading them with this crap.

Let me add the explination: the plane didn't cause the collapse, the fire did. No explosives either.
There was NO explosion when it collapsed, it just collapsed. The plane riped off the fire/heat proof painting on the stctural metel inside the tower, the heat caused the metel to weaken, letting the top colappse down and take the tower with it. South tower went first because the plane was angeled going into it, so more floors were affected.
Controlled demos don't work this way. Go get a life.

Too add to your point...
I saw a special on the construction of the towers, and in it the original engineers even admitted that they didn't fire proof every support beam. So in truth, the planes themselves may not have even have had to rip through most of the fireproofing material. I guess you could say faulty construction was another factor, in addition to the plane's impact and burning jet fuel.

After the towers fell a proffesor took some samples and found out that a substance called nueclar thermite was found in the dust which is extremly flamable and then burned it can cut straight throught almost anything and he belives that this thermite was painted onto the wall of the WTC and when egnighted it could have easily cut through the steel and collapsed the towers

I was in school.... Second grade.... cameron elementary school....In barstow california...... I was sitting at my desk then most of the childeren in my class were all of a sudden leaveing the room.... they were being taken outta school then my mom was suddenly in the class room and she grabbed me and we left. i didnt even get my backpack. i watched it from home.... dear god i was crying... i was so scared and ......amazed.... i am a sophmore in high school now and i cry just seeing this footage
