I dig it, for sure. But when you hear William Bell, well...it rings bells, let's put it that way. The Sound Of A Bell was my first taste of soul as a young brother; I must have been seven when I bought it on wax: still have it, still play it, without a doubt one of the greatrest Soul albums, period. Sam and Dave live blow my mind, James Brown..well, I have never seen a man perform like that! I was two rows back, enough to feel that cold sweat - for real! Just floored me. Anyway, this still flies
Does anyone know who the guy is that used this beat in a rap song? A girl starts it off but a guy raps in it... i been trying to figure it out 4ever.... Thanks you
Why y'all gotta dis Jaheim? I think he has one of the most old-school sounding voices in modern R&B, and you can tell by his sample choices that he has respect for the classics. This is a great version of the song, too... just a dope ass tune no matter which dude sings it.
nah...not this song this is a cover of the William Bell song he did the original the sample comes from him...the video for that used to be up I don't see it now though
