  • force these battery operated toy cars on us..what a prat!

  • if anyone wants the number to the EPA's direct line no joking here it is 7342149792...your welcome

  • Poe has Obama confused with Bush. The list of all Poe doesn't know grows and grows. And that's just the way it is!

  • Halleyuyah, amen and thank you Rep. Poe!! EPA has done less for the environment and more for seperating the little man from his hard earned money and controlling every tiny aspect of our lives. I live on a dirt road, I have horses and cattle and dairy goats. God help me if my chickens should kick up a cloud of dust while eating bugs in the yard. My opinion: if you don't want to be flooded, don't build your house on a flood plain. If you don't like the dust, live in a paved, urban area.

  • The epa is nothing but a bunch of worthless bastards....Fuck you epa....

  • I recall a series of grain elevators erupting in a fiery explosion when grain dust ignited killing many people and throwing huge chunks of concrete in the surrounding neighborhood. Poe is simply wrong, as usually. He is my Congressman and I apologize to America for not opposing his election more vigorously.

  • Damn, the Texan politicians are so truthful and hard hitting. If it weren't for the heat and gulf border I would move there.

  • "wonderment" ;p

  • TED POE FOR PRESIDENT-One of the ones on the HILL with COMMON SENSE...the GOV'T WANT TO REGULATE EVERYTHING-Pretty soon..the breaths we take will be TAXED!!! SHRINK THE GOV'T...and REGULATE THE REGULATIONS! Their Bills/Laws need to apply to THEM first-let them enjoy obummer-care! pollution is what is going on right here on this page DUH! You people are spewing CRAP...Dust has been here since the Earths creation... just one blow up of a volcano on this earth sends "DUST" all around the world

  • The EPA is just one government agency that needs to get the axe if we want to get our country back on track.

  • Another way to lower our debt: Demolish the EPA! More bureaucracy! Another state issue. Regulation crazy, we now have government warring on business.

  • There was a time when conservatives actually believed in conserving the country we live in.Now we are electing idiots like this who bought and paid for by the fossil fuel industry.Congressman like Poe could care less about the impact of pollution on our country and our health as long they receive fat campaign donations from the polluters.

  • WOW, WHAT A FUCKING DOUCHE BAG.

Fucking government trying to relate to us simple people.

  • Government subsidies are already creating a WORLD WIDE FOOD SHORTAGE. We are fueling our cars with food that should feed the world. WHAT IN THE HELL is congress and the EPA thinking??? America feeds the people of the world...including ourselves.....what are we thinking? We need to keep the prices low or upheaval in the Middle East will come to this country. What are the intentions of the EPA?

  • The EPA is so under manned & funded since the GWB years they couldn't regulate fly shit droppings. The EPA has no teeth. Much like FEMA & every other Consumer Protection Agency since GWB. Your food, your medicines, your air, water ect. Natural Gas DRILL/FRACKING going on in the NE ect. The EPA has NO guide lines or rights to regulate these fucks. Wasn't the BP spill evidence enough these agencies are gimp? What the Repubs can't destroy out right they just DEFUND it until its worthless. F Rethugs

  • Go Ted! Stick it to em - show em how stupid they really are. Sometimes it takes a fellow Texan to point this sh*t out.

  • A man in the same position as Ted Poe really should be able to read better than he has.

  • Dust HAS to be regulated! It has been a sleeping giant that when awakened can become a very uncomfortable pain to your face when those evil grains of dust gets caught in some wind.

  • Amazing!!

Won't be able to ride you bicycle or even walk on the well beaten path either!!

  • The EPA needs to be regulated.

  • People always think agencies like the EPA is some sort of government agency.

    It isn't.

The EPA is a privately owned corporation granted the authority to pass environmental regulations by federal legislation.

Pretty good gig, huh? Get billions of tax payer dollars and pass regulations by pretending to be a relevant government agency out to protect We The People.

This is the same deal in all western countries and their regulatory bodies.

Seriously. This shit has got to go.

  • @LordDyhalto Deep a deep breath in the Owens Valley. That's some toxic dust there, after Los Angeles stole their water.

  • @LordDyhalto Please state your sources for this accusation. I believe you will find that you have none. Sad that people comment without a single fact that is true. So very sad.

  • assholes

  • People that think of bull shit like this, should get their fucking teeth kicked in.

  • Sick Jirks.

  • This needs to get viral!!!!

  • ohhhhhhh mmmmmyyyyyy GOD!!! ummm i really think its time to draw the line now

  • this must be the onion

  • Let them police chemtrails & NO, I'm not kidding.

  • We put you in office to shut down idiots in government, lord knows we have way to many. Even the top dog.

  • They need to consider the 'particulate matter' that is being sprayed on us like DDT in days of old...

  • farmers should just get an education and get a job. join the 21st century

  • @signboyy Says he who hasn't been out of his moms basement in 3 months. Most farmers I know have several years of college and many have 4 or more years. Go back to your video games and come back when you grow up and grow a pair sonnyboy.

  • but i thought that the republican view on jobs were if they are lost "so be it"

  • All this regulation will increase the cost of food during these times of rising food-gas prices.

This will compound the food-gas prices.

  • Just because you are a farmer, doesn't mean you care about the environment. What if you are factory farming cattle? How frickin environmentally friendly is that? What if you're growing cotton? Same thing. Sure, I like cotton and beef, but please don't try to suggest producing them is hippy dippy.

  • the dirt roads will be the target.I wonder if they will still spray aluminum barium?

  • People can see how the EPA here is over reaching. Kind of like that TSA agent's hand feeling up my junk. Kind of like that suspended habeas corpus. Kind of like that agency that want to see what books you checked out of a library. Kind of like that national ID mandate. Kind of like forcing each one of us to buy a health insurance to dilute the costs of caring for the sick by companies that has to show growth to its investors. Kind of like that pesky drug war. Kind of like overreaching government

  • Republicans want to deregulate cooperate police like EPA... why am I not surprised.

  • @lSeKToRl This is not a Republican thing, but also Democrats want to deregulate EPA too. EPA has lost their marbles and are totally insane. They are their own entity. Take a look at regulations EPA has tried passing recently, they are the reason why our country is bankrupt and our businesses in China, Korea, and Mexico and they are not coming back.

  • Majestic 4 wheel drive pick up trucks....these people think they still live in the 1950's...

  • @TeddyAndy68 You do realize you better get your petroplastic piece of dung out of the way for an all steel truck. Stay on the far right side of the road. Nothing is more majestic than an all steel beast of a truck made prior to the petroplastic dung. You have the best carberator in an all steel 4x4 they can out do majority of 4x4 Hybrids at 30-40 MPG. Hybrids can do 25-30 MPG. Carberators make all the difference to a vehicle.

  • Probably working with Monsanto to put all farmers out of business indefinitely.

  • Is this guy a Poe..?

  • Majestic four wheel drives? Gas might be a little cheaper if everyone didn't have to drive suburban tanks.

  • @Chemicalogic News Flash... It won't be cheaper.

  • i have never heard majestic and pick up truck in the same sentence, i thought trucks were rugged, self reliant...majestic sounds kinda elitist to me

  • This guy must get his material from Rush, Sean or Glenn. Take a small fact and blow it out of proportion with fantasy scenarios to demonize anything.

  • @exsinor Actually, hes getting his material from the EPA. Youre a moron.

  • This Country is crazy like the Twilight Zone on crystal meth, LSD and angeldust at the same time. WHAT THE @$#%?!!?!

  • HMM, WHY IS MOX NEWS POSTING VIDS FROM THE ONION NETWORK??

  • Toy cars?? LOL. The most sophomoric response to foreign cars, esp. Toyotas. Haven't we gotten past callign them "toy cars"? These "toy cars" are more FUEL-EFFICIENT AND they're usually a lot more well-built (built to last, in other words) than our American cars! Idiots

Toyota's the number 1 car co. in the world. Yes... "toy cars", indeed.

  • I'm looking at the EPA's website, and I honestly can't find anything about this. Where do I go to find out the ACTUAL info about this, rather than silly right-wing talking points and dumbing down??

  • @whoo689 you won't find it at the EPA - all this shit, including the notion that the EPA said CO2 is a poison, was made up by right wing corporate apologists who can't present reasonable arguments and evidence, so they make up lies and then claim their target (in this case the EPA) said x, y, or z. Then dull witted and willfully ignorant Faux Noose lemmings jump on the fake news and use it to strawman educated people.

  • @whoo689

    Here ya go:

    greyfalcon (dot) net/climate

Or for a simplified discussion on how carbon dioxide blocks CO2 from leaving earth's atmosphere, and how that can be directly measured.

    goo (dot) gl/pk7AI

  • He is purposely misinforming the people. What the EPA wants to do is regulate the toxic gases so it doesn't get into our food system. Look it up.

  • 2 EPA employees must have seen this.

  • He spends 5 minutes pleasing his corporate donors by bashing regulation, hasn't he got more important issues to discuss? While people lose their homes and jobs, Republicans spend all their time scoring cheap points. You never hear them admit it was lack of regulation that heavily contributed to the financial crisis. The EPA, what an easy target, god forbid he sets his sights on the banksters.

  • Hmmm. Makes me wish the Gulf of Mexico had a dust problem. Maybe it could use the attention...? Just sayin'

  • this is the dumbest shit i ever heard

  • What a fucking moron. Certainly there may be some points to the dust regulation being overly burdensome and needing reworking, but to act like dust isn't harmful is fucking idiotic. Oh the marbled palace of the epa and the ivory towers of wackademia.....Can this guy just shut the fuck up? Doesn't he realize how serious of an issue asthma is to many people? Doesn't he realize how unregulated factory farms fuck up communities. This guy needs to fuck off.

  • this guy is an idiot..

  • sounds like ninja dust to me

  • thank you EPA...god bless you!...(sarcasm)

  • Dust fucks up the lungs.

Dust from cereals, dust from roads, dust from mining, dust from clay, all types of dust clog up the lungs.

Preventing the rise of dust from a cow or a car seems to me a stupid idea, but recommend (or some in extreme cases force) the use of adequate protection equipment would be a good idea. To many people it can be the difference between death at 50 years old or playing with the grandchildren after retiring.

  • Heaven forbid any of you ever have a critical though. How about you guys go look at what they actually want to do instead of this rhetorical bullshit.

You people are disgusting sheeple that can't remember ANYTHING from grade school science class. But let's not inject facts into the conversation. Apparently, using your brain is a foreign concept to most Americans.

  • @jawayetti Thank you heartily for throwing 'most' in front of americans. Really.

  • @SinisterWalrus No problem! I aim to please!

  • It's nice to see that the people of Texas are so open minded, as to elect a mentaly challenged representative to congress...

  • Oh my aching ass!!!

  • Is this ''The Onion''!? WTF!? EPA can kiss my ASS! The EPA said the

ASBESTOS AIR at ground zero was safe after 911 to open wall street faster!

FVCK the EPA! When is the revolution!?

  • Particulate matter is the stuff that when you breath it in gives you lung cancer. And don't forget all that "dust" that the 911 rescuers breathed in.

  • What? "What about paving the asphalt over these roads? Really? They can't be serious!" Um, yeah. It's called infrastructure, and ours is falling apart.

  • So would it still be legal to play Kansas' "Dust in the Wind" ?..lol

  • I want to see a bill past .....Said bill will tax the stupid people on the federal level....Look at the bright side america should be out of debt by say ..........JUNE

  • Soon, Monsanto will patent dust free farms!

But the sulphuric aerosol they spray daily to create cloud civer is A OK?

    Idiots.

  • @LFCsoldier I meant cloud cover.

  • I HAVE SOOM DUST ON MY ASS-ANYONE IN GOVERMENT WANT TO LICK IT OFF?

  • Crap like this is what caused Rome to fall. atleast they lasted 1000 years...

  • @MrTonyburresch Huh? Rome fell because of air quality regulations... Who knew!

  • @MrTonyburresch FoxNews, You, and Your THUMBS UP BOT PROGRAM... are lies ;-)

  • @MrTonyburresch

Foreign invasions is what caused Rome to fall, history fuck up.

  • ~~> Did the ticker just say Westboro Funeral Protests are ok?? WTF??

  • You have got to be kidding me

  • INSANITY - The EPA has stated that CO2 is a TOXIC Gas, even though we exhale it, and it is necessary for all life on earth. Bill Gates wants to lower CO2 to zero....WTH Don't fall for their NWO agenda. EPA and all other alphabet agencies should be ABOLISHED!

  • @Kitswain59 if there was 0 co2 then all plants would ummm die. lets do that. it sounds like somthing really cool.

  • @Rantimr not only plants, humans, and everything else.

  • @Kitswain59 well ya of course, everything would die without plants there kinda the base of the food chain

  • @Kitswain59

comments that contain the letters NWO should be abolished.

  • @myrelative <- says THIS still-mistaken reptillian.

  • @SinisterWalrus

dont let facts interfere with your glorious "infowar".

  • @myrelative I have seen no facts supporting an opposing view to my own. This is why I chose to hold said view.

  • @SinisterWalrus

you old this view because you listen to an insane maniac who has found his partner in crame in charlie sheen

  • @myrelative I hold my views because I pay attention to trends in the ebb and flow of global society, and can't bring myself to chalk my highly unsettling findings up to coincidence. I've noticed you have a tendency to pull from recent/very widely known subjects for most of the content of your arguments. This leads me to believe you have very little in the way of original opinions or the supporting knowledge they require. I don't appreciate being pigeon-holed, I stated almost no beliefs I hold.

  • @SinisterWalrus

you don't have to. I just assume it is "everything alex jones said".

  • @myrelative Alex Jones spreads 1/3 half-truths, 1/3 misinformation and 1/3 disinformation. Dig deeper than the surface shit the mainstream media talks about.

  • something tells me this guy is lying and this regulation is really about fine dust, emitted by industry and cars, which is a serious health risk. but not caused by driving on an unpaved road.

  • CO2 is toxic you moron.

  • @Churchx77 If you believe that, you are. Learn something....youtube....Nation Of Lies - Some Truth About Carbon Dioxide

  • Definition of toxic: 'acting as or having the effect of a poison; poisonous: a toxic drug.' Breathe too much CO2 as opposed to O2, Im pretty sure it will have a toxic effect on your body.

  • @Churchx77 Must be nice to just make facts up as you go? You must feel so smart!

    -

CO2 is not Dust! CO2 is not toxic or poisonous! It you were to breathe nothing but pure CO2 you would become oxygen starved and would eventually suffocate because there is no Oxygen. Not because CO2 is poison!

    -

For the record: Al Gore may have been the vice President of the USA but, that does not mean he is not a fraud and prolific lyre! Global Warming is a Scam!

  • @Churchx77

Breathe too much Oxygen...it has a toxic effect.

  • @Kitswain59

    ==Learn something....youtube....Nation Of Lies - Some Truth A==

I looked at it. It seems that the video maker has no clue what a mathematic summation symbol means.

I'm assuming it's because he's never taken anything besides basic math classes.

Here's some of the numbers on carbon if you're interested.

A hell of a lot goes up, almost the same but slightly more goes down.

    greyfalcon (dot) net/carbon2

The difference between "net zero" and "zero" is dumbfoundingly different.

  • @Kitswain59

CO2 is toxic you moron. It may be natural but so is arsenic. And we "exhale" CO2, there's a reason we don't "inhale" it. Try holding your breath and see what happens, you'll pass out. And if you don't start breathing again guess what? You fucking die. Try breathing CO2 and see how that works out for you.

  • @Mattm1986 Your reply makes no sense. You're in the Twilight Zone.

  • @Mattm1986

Drink a gallon of water in 15 minutes and you'll die, too.

"All things are poison and nothing is without poison, only the dose permits something not to be poisonous."

    - Paracelsus

  • @Mattm1986 It's not toxic to trees and plants!

  • Comment removed

  • @Mattm1986 how do you expect plants to live? on oxygen? plants create O2 OUT OF CO2. yes there is a reason we don't inhale it, plants need it to live. it is a system of balance that nature created.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kitswain59 Actually, the Supreme Court ruled in 2007 that greenhouse gases are pollutants covered under the Clean Air Act, so the EPA is justified in regulating them. And Gates' TED talk was about lowering CO2 EMISSIONS to zero, not removing all CO2 from the atmosphere (which is impossible). Cut out your dumbass conspiracy crap and learn you some books.

  • @Kitswain59

No. Faux news and other propaganda organisations said that CO2 is toxic. It's not toxic. It's a GREENHOUSE gas. Look it up before you spill your ignorance over the internet like a bucketful of bloody pus and diarrhea, you partiallly formed stool.

  • @Kitswain59

What's truly startling is that you have eleven thumbs up to this comment. That means there are at least eleven other stultifyingly fucking ignorant cockwads out there in addition to yourself!

  • @Kitswain59 You make no sense, maybe you should do some more reading regarding CO2 before you represent yourself as a fool.

  • @Kitswain59 CO2 makes up roughly 0.04% of our atmosphere. While it does help regulate bloodflow and hemoglobins in the human body, having high concentrations CAN be lethal. It causes the body to not produce enough oxygen with each intake and the CO2 concentrations build up till eventually suffocation occurs. Its the reason why if you swim and you hold your breath, you have to come up for air.

  • @Kitswain59 When people say (like Bill Gates) 'reduce C02 to zero' they are talking about the excess. There is a stable level and we are well over it. The consider zero to be the stable position, they don't mean remove all C02.

  • @Kitswain59 retards... are born everyday... we can expedite this buy watching Fox News

  • @Kitswain59 Excessive Co2 emissions can be regulated naturally with the legalization of hemp & cannabis crops, for every 1 ton of Co2 created 4 tons of oxygen would be released into the atmosphere virtually undoing the damage done through our excessive use of oil. Not to mention the various raw materials that can be created through hemp when cannabis is has been scientifically proven to reduce the effects of cancer. Its a no brainer but our lawmakers are either blind or stupid or both.

  • @MadXMax187 you know how else you can regulate Co2 emissions? plant a fucking tree.

  • If you get dust in your lungs you'll probably want it regulated too.

  • @MaryJesusJoseph that is why you have nose hair, nature has a way to regulate itself

  • ~~> Oh No... The dust bunny police are coming... What a freaking tool... The grapes of wrath was not about the freaking dust you dip shit... It was about the bank taking farms from folks after the lying bankers stole all the money starting the great depression... It was about people not being abor to find work and migrating to work in labor camps...

I can't believe he gets paid for this BS... Save our deficit, fire a republican...

  • I give up...

  • The Congressman should made to ride along next to a combine, or right behind a diesel engine's tailpipe (full of mutagenic diesel particulate matter), breathe in the particles generated daily for a few weeks, and see how his lungs feel....

  • Hers the deal. Farmers cant make dust, so people cant farm. However, Monsanto get a waiver..It is in order to control people in the future, keep them from freedom. This is not made up. It is part of Agenda 21. Please we cant live free. Monsanto get a waiver. It is to regulate us. We cannot collect rain water to water our garden. We will not be able to feed ourselves. We are fucked.

  • Abolish the EPA!!

  • i lived in houston and I fucking hate Poe !

  • they didn't ban the toxic dust at the world trade centers, they even said it was safe to breath.

  • wow

  • And this would be a bad thing, how? If it were true, how is it a bad thing? Of course this guy is from Texas.

Is this the guy that will eventually help Brawndo buy out the EPA?

  • @snipzor

Not the governments place to regulate dust...but, then again; what the hell today is within the governments realm of constitutional authority?

    Anarchy 2012.

  • @helltrackrider First off, you cite the constitution without actually quoting it, good for you for saying absolutely nothing. Ted quotes classic literally talking about how dust storms ruined agriculture, and then says "Well fuck that shit!". Brilliant.

  • @snipzor

Wasn't aware that i had to quote any part of it...

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

    Better?

  • @helltrackrider So the welfare of the people isn't something the federal government can do? Hmm, I wonder where that appears in the federal documents...

  • *founding

Don't know where I got federal from.

  • @snipzor

    Welfare of the "People"...no.

    Welfare of the "United States"...yes.

    Read.

  • @snipzor

your logic also implies that the Government should pay the debts of the "People"...I dont recall any of my debts being covered to date by this glorious government.

"The Congress shall have power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common defence and general Welfare of the United States"

    ..."of the United States"

  • @snipzor

United States defiition - Title 28, Part VI, Chapter 176 § 3002 of the United States Code

    “United States” means—

    (A) a Federal corporation;

    (B) an agency, department, commission, board, or other entity of the United States; or

    (C) an instrumentality of the United States.

Prior to the US Code; it meant the States combined as a single entity...not the people within the States.

  • @helltrackrider "if the extent of your morality and ethics is pointing to specific sections of an interpretive document, then this isn't a very good conversation."

Like I said earlier but you were unwilling to look at it, you are not worth having a conversation with. All you can do is point at something, and then completely ignore any ethical conversation being taken place.

  • @snipzor

    ignore any ethical conversation?...how so?

Tell me...since you are backing the Government on this issue; how ethical is it to take somoene's wealth at the point of a gun and distribute that wealth to others?

I think they call this theft...

Or...how about kidnapping people and secluding them into prisons for non-violent; non-fraudulent crimes or crimes upon their own person?

    Very ethical.

  • @helltrackrider See, immediately you draw a conclusion before there is a conversation. Considering that taxes go towards services provided for states and people (For their benefit, hopefully), it's not theft is the money is returned. The analogy has never worked, will never work, and currently does not work.

But we aren't talking about it. Give a real reason for your twattery.

  • @snipzor

    Im drawing conclusions?...in what way.

I am simply correcting where you are wrong; it is not for debate - it is self evident.

Anyways...words and laws are not authoritative unless you utilize fear and violence; which the Government does.

As for taxes...if you cannot see that this is theft, by definition and by action, then i may as well be talking to a tree.

Theft - Larcenry - Robbery - Extortion...take your pick; Taxation fits EVERY definition.

  • @snipzor

Let me be more specific for you..."Involuntary" taxes...seeing as the overwhelming (+90%) of taxes collected are involuntary and maybe around 40% of the overall Government spending is via inflation (which is theft) ... id say that certainly todays Government; hell - all governments, are immoral and unethical and steal from individuals by the use or threat of force.

    Can you refute this?...no.

Thanks...I, one again, am correct - you are not.

  • @snipzor well first of to you , if you can't cite a the constitution that specifically calls out dust control to the federal govt. then it doesn't have the power to regulate it. 10th amendment-"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

  • @seestuff09 Sorry, all I read in what you said was "Herpa derp, the constitution doesn't say that the government should regulate things, therefore derp derp derp"

Sorry, but if the extent of your morality and ethics is pointing to specific sections of an interpretive document, then this isn't a very good conversation. Same goes to Helltrackrider.

  • @snipzor

If farmers do not want to spend the additional effort (insurance) to combat dust or dust storms; then that is their perogative.

If they feel that dust from and adjacent property is ruining or has ruined their crops...there is a thing called the "judicial system" - do i need to cite this Article for you?

  • @helltrackrider What about people like me with severe asthma that can die to excessive amount's of dust?

I can't afford to sue any one and that is if i survive.

  • @Waage83

Better stay inside...mother nature kicks up dust every day.
