Been a massive iron maiden fan all my life. I don't know why Blaze got so much stick. Granted, Bruce will always be number one in my eyes but certain songs (particularly this one and "sign of the cross") are better (in my opinion) suited with Blaze as vocalist.

Comparing Bruce to blaze (not easy to do without bias):

Bruce is a great classical singer with amazing range and greater charisma which I find Blaze lacks. Blaze on the other hand has a great "album feel". You can feel the passion in his voice that Bruce has only managed to do live later on in his career and in the latest albums. I think Blaze really gave the albums his all. Its a pity he doesn't have the stage presence that Bruce has. I think if he had it he would have gotten a better reaction.
