@catzruleworld Actualy..... Airbus made them specificaly to transport aircraft parts (fuselage sections) (etc) to and from from touloise in france (airbus factory)..... Boeing modified a 747 to piggyback the shuttle just as the russians use an antonov 225 to move theres....

Because the Airbus A380 is made up of parts manufactured in several European countries (and i beliieve put together in France) it is more economical than actually making it one country, apparently. However, given that the wings made in the UK have been found to have cracks in them one has to question if it is indeed economical. I guess choosing the UK to make anything is a risk these days

The plane is real. It's called the Airbus A300-600ST Beluga, and if you look closey at the object above the fuselage, that might be the Beluga's fuel tank, and if not, it's a big cargo plane, even bigger than most cargo planes.

Collin, it's a real plane. This is no mod for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Even though I've never really seen the Airbus A300-600ST Beluga in person, it is a great looking jet. Another Airbus jet I've heard of is the Airbus A380, which is said to have been put together in numerous different countries. The A380 Airbus is the biggest Airbus known. It's little brother in aircrafts is the Airbus A320, another Airbus jet.

If you ever heard of the Hindenburg, the Hindenburg was a famous German airship of the 1930s, but unfortunately, the crash was fatal and fiery. Almost everybody died on-board. Not that long ago, a crash almost like the Hindenburg crash happened. A Goodyear blimp flying over Germany caught fire, but the pilot managed to get the aircraft close enough to the ground that everybody could jump out. The three passengers survived, but the pilot died.

I think the Airbus A300-600ST Beluga is a cargo jet because the area above the fuselage is so big that it could carry a lot more cargo than your average cargo jet, which means that the Airbus A300-600ST Beluga is a larger-than-average cargo jet.
