Jerry Reed is one of the most under-rated finger pickers. He sort of gets lost in the shadow of Chet Atkins but for those of us who know how good he is, we are the better for it.

I agree - I used to play this until I forgot about it and would probably have to relearn it now. The timing is as you say. Nice playing and great to hear it again. I haven't checked if you have included Stumpwater but if not it would be good to hear too. The guitar sounds so good I want one!

I disagree, JR's recording is at MM=120 and I play it slower than that here.
