The earliest part of the video clearly shows that the Miami player was trying to get a cheap advantage by running out of bounds (to avoid blockers) and then coming back in bounds to get at the punt returner.
The New York coaches were trying to dissuade him from that kind of crap.
Stay on the field . . . play fair . . . and you won't get tripped up on the sideline.
Hmm, I think people might be looking too much into this. Channing ran into him from the looks of it and I can't tell if the dude put his knee out intentionally or if he was just bracing. I'm not sticking up for the Jets believe me but I'm just not sure the incident is as black and white as people are making it out to be.
@CemeteryMan97051 on nydailynews they quoted Sal saying "I made a mistake that showed a total lapse in judgment. My conduct was inexcusable and unsportsmanlike and does not reflect what this organization stands for," said Alosi
@Nikongt Which is what he has to say in order to pacify the PC NFL and smooth feathers for the organization. Rarely is what said in a press release reflect what actual happened. Its simply a PR move on the Jets part. Doesn't look intentional and the guy was out of bounds on thier sideline anyway.

Sal Alosi is a disgrace to Football. He should be fired immediately and banned from any involvement in the NFL. FOREVER!

@DEATH2FAGS4eva If you're wrong then you've just posted the private information of some innocent person and encouraged people to harass that person.
If you're correct, then you've simply sunk to his level (or worse).
So let's recap: if you're wrong then you're wrong and if you're right you're still wrong. Either way, this is wrong. So why would you do this?
