These bats are growing in numbers and are a bloody nuisance eating and damaging everything in sight.

I hope they all disappear as quickly as they appeared.

Flying foxes flap their wings to cool them down on hot days. They are sensitive to the heat and often they are exposed to the sun during the day.

I absolutely adore flying foxes! They are the cutest mammals. Faces like dogs but without the racket and they LOVE banana smoothies. Precious creatures...

they look like warewolves with wings. They are really cool. Im glad they aren't evil and agressive to other amimals or people. They really aren't too high on the food chain. They get eaten by pythons a lot. i saw a few flying foxes at the Australia exibit at the Baltimore aquarium.

They do flap their wings to cool themselves. Also, the males like to make themselves smell lovely by peeing all over themselves... I'm sure flapping ensures that any sexy girls nearby get the benefit of their "manly musk".
