Thanks for the massive Toilet Roll you designed and built John.But in all seriouseness I do have a soft spot for buildings like the Centeral Library,New Street Station and Old Bull Ring as they were around all my natural life growing up in the city.But sadly the world is changing.Like it or not the city is evolving into something else now its a differant world.

The Central Library has always been an eyesore and does not fit in with surrounding buildings - please demolish it!

Fabulous to see the man behind an equally fabulous building. It would be an utter travesty of biblical proportions if this building were removed. It's strong, iconic and fucntional. Remove the rubbish, trashy fast food outlets from inside, get a decent architect who likes using LEDs and other modern frivolous things and give it back to the people. It could look sensational with some care. Too many buildings like this are being lost, don't make a huge mistake! John Madin...I salute you.

There are quite a few people living in that library including one guy who is there for 17 years at least. I spent 2 years there each day when the Birmingham Council took out my windows and then refused to put them back for 2 years making it cold.
