@thewindrelease I think everyone likes brotherhood better. Brotherhood is the real story, it is exactly like the manga, and the first anime was based off the manga. The manga wasn't finished though so they had to make a bunch of shit up to make a series out of it and thats why it is so different from brotherhood.

The 2003 Anime , in my opinion , has more emotional depth , better overall Voice Acting and is more believable in many ways while Brotherhood has more action , more slapstick , a more epic scope and The Overall Storyline is truer to The Manga !

@BassGosple, actually it doesn't. I've found some who have imprinted this opinion unto me - 2003 holds a philosophical, intriguing pace to its storyline; and personally, I like the alternate plot, so switching the story up halfway to invent a "new series" was really, in my mind, brilliant. Doing the "same thing" is just lame.

I'll admit I prefer Brotherhood for its actions and characters at times, and the theme songs and SOLF J KIMBLEE = MOONWALKER. But 2003 is still good in hindsight.
