  • Your hero? He's an old time politician out to enrich himself and his friends.

  • Sorry Sharkey,

You really should not comment about someone you know nothing about. . This entire country could use many more Dave Freemans, especially at this time. I have personally met this man, heard his stand on water & energy issues and am aware of his policy vis a vis these issues. His record stands on its own merit. What are your credentials?

  • roadhog118b,

What makes you think I know nothing about him? Just because I attack your hero you assume I know nothing about this old curmudgeon? You met the guy? Wow. I, unfortunately, have worked for him. In reality, he's a crude and profane egomaniac who cares about nothing more than advancing his own interests. Yes, even at his age.

  • Sharkey, I still serve/work now. Crusty, profane egomaniac? "When you work for a man, you do his work for him. I do not have any use for a man who does not read". Ref. "Mulholland &The Rise of Los Angeles" by Catherine Mulholland. Men like that tend to attract admirers & detractors. The first time I met Mr. Freeman & shook his hand, I said something to him like "I understand that you are the trouble shooter around here". And he said to me, "Well, some people call me the trouble maker."

  • Brilliant interview. I hope President Obama gets a chance to listen to this interview. Even though it's 6 years old, it's relevent.

  • My new hero. Sad that he only has a few hundred hits...and telling.

  • "Perfect is enemy of good" :)

    Very interesting guy
