  • I still have my old tg16 and this game. I still play it occasionally. Love it.

  • what is at 3:20??? wooow its so heavy

  • Best pinball music ever.

  • the song makes the pinball game, the pinball game of your life.. as if your life is at stake if you lose! Awesome game and soundtrack!

  • this is the best pinball game ever

  • i miss the oldschool days when the games has a fucking cool sountrack,

    FM synthesis power!!

the Megadrive version is a little update, but this version is amazing

  • @manuelink64

PC-Engine/TG16 has no FM sound. It uses small wavetables.

  • This is cool. I still have my old tg16 and just got finished playing devil's crush. Oh, here's a tip for those of you that still play it: Enter the word "devilsatan' into the password screen. You will have unlimited pinballs and have a very high score. If you want to cheat, that is.

  • This soundtrack was way better than Alien Crush's soundtrack!

  • One of the best games on the PC-Engine and indeed the best (8 bit !) music ever.

  • Unfortunately the music cuts off the best part of the main theme.

  • To this day this is STILL the best video pinball game I have ever played!

  • I prefer MegaDrive version of these musics but outstanding tunes anyway.

  • holy fuckin shitblalzlllzzz

  • the TG16 pinball games were the best. they truly simulated everything right down to the irritatingly wide space between the flippers.

  • kozachok

  • Most Metal soundtrack ever! 5/5

  • they used to have an actual heavy metal (real instrument) recording of this theme on youtube but it was deleted. it was freakin awesome

  • I absolutely love Devil's Crush, still have it on the TG16 over here.

Just wish I could get a soundtrack for it, the music is rocking!

  • i'm very glad my mother and father showed me the Turbo Grafix when I was very young,, I may consider it to be my very first video game console. Yet, most of the games it as are pretty underrated, some are just wasting space on the Virtual Console. This os certainly one that is underrated

  • The game is fucking awesome, the TG16 is a fantastic console, This version of the music is awful, most of it sounds in the wrong key, the Megadrive music is far superior.

  • The MD's instrumentation is awful and lacks many of the accents and intensity of the TG version. Sure the TG wasn't known for its sound chip, but this version at least sounds like it's being played, as opposed to fed through a synth with no character like the MD version.

  • You're right. They did definitely screw up the translation. The instruments were not well programmed. FM is notoriously difficult to work with & they were just doin' a quickie :(.

Luckily they made up for it with Devilish.. which was super impressive.

  • Best game on the PC-Engine,with the best music ever!

  • Great music that was left untouched in the remix community, if you remixers need some untapped material, here's some for you.

  • i miss this game so much.. would anyone now how i could download this? i figure maybe an emulator but which one and would i be able to download it to my psp?

  • Wow, it's cool to see a pinball game with such an awesome soundtrack.

  • @Camwi The game is just as awesome.

  • BTW The ''Awesome game with more awesome music =WIN'' i was refereing to

    Devils Crush.

  • This game is like the Pinball Of the Dead on the Gameboy Advance.I quess they copyied it.

Awesome game with more awesome music =WIN

  • Obviously a TurboGraphx-16 game that came out in 1989 copied a Gameboy Advance game that came out in 2004 (?)

As long as your phrase "Awesome game with more awesome music = WIN" was referring to Devil's Crush, you're awesome.

  • I was reffering that Pinball of the dead was

    Copying the DEvils Crush.

    Sry I wasnt Spesific enough.

  • Best Video Pinball game ever! Absolutely one of my most prized game cards. This + Turbo Express = hours of fun during long trips.

  • cool game only sad that the tg16 is such a mediocre console, the music rocks, wich version is better this on eor the genesis one,the genesis one has better quality of music more channels and stuff.

  • @aryinc TG16 is NOT a mediocre console, If you have a converter.....get ready to play some amazing games along with great releases from the US. CD also adds to the amazing library. I got 70 amazing games for this system and i love it.

  • somebody should do metal songs covers on the soundtrack that be awsome :P

best pinball game ever and even beat the shit of lots of games too !!!!

  • Seriously. If someone made a guitar medley of this game's soundtrack, I would seriously love them forever.

  • youre fucking right but nobody take the initiative to do it if i could play an instrument i would rock on of all old school beat like those imagine the solos lollll cheers!

  • The TGX Devil's Crush would take FUCKSYLVIA as a working password.

  • I always wanted this game as a kid. I saw it on GamePro TV all the time. Now with the Wii, I finally got it and love it!

  • Ah worship the Devil and play pinball at the same time. ;-)

  • I suck balls at pinball, but Devil's Crush always had some badass music. Much love for the TurboGrafx and PCEngine! ^_^

  • Watching the woman's face change used to freak me out. It was still the coolest thing about this game for me.

  • I think I just might try out this game if I can find it.

  • Just a little correction: the TurboGrafx (and original) music is done by Noriyuki Iwadare. Toshiharu Yamanishi and Co. have merely taken care of the music port on the GEN/MD version.

  • Noriyuki Iwadare?! Are you certain? Mr. Grandia?? O_O

  • Well, as sure as the Sega-16 site is wanting me to believe in their Side-by-Side feature and their Sega Stars discography. The Square Enix Music site seems to confirm it too. Just Google for Devil Crash and Noriyuki Iwadare.

  • I also wonder about the involvement of T. Sakoda and M. Tsukamoto in the MD/Gen version. See SoylentSteel's 33rd Game Endings video.

While I'm reasonably sure that T. Yamanishi (Funky Surounin) worked on this, a bit of Googling reveals that Yunker Matai seems to be an alias for Naosuke Arai (Thunder Force II) and Omen an alias for either Takeshi Yoshida or Tomomi Ohtani (Thunder Force IV). Feel free to correct me on this though. And yes, I waste way too much time looking into this.

  • I think I need to correct my dumb self here. According to that same Square Enix Music site, T. Sakoda did indeed compose the original tunes. Major misreading on my part.

Don't know about M. Tsukamoto, but given that they worked in the past, I wouldn't put it past them.

    N. Iwadare only contributed to the Arrange CD of the game.

    I'll just shut up now.

  • this game would rock remade on the DS's DUAL screen. its about time Devil's Crush returned. Despite so called "newer superior technology" Its still the most badass video pinball game. period. The soundtrack kicks ass too. the first vidgame soundtrack i headbanged to.

  • very good music

  • I proudly owned this game for Genesis, along with Devilish...which had some good music.

  • true its insane.

  • In my opinion, some of the best videogame music ever :)
