1:07 - Norma's reaction when Denise tells her what she's naming the baby...this is pure virtuoso acting, the ability to express acute emotions in such a subtle way. She's bursting with so much pride that her face can't even express it...I've seen the exact same reaction in old people in similar circumstances...what a fine actress this lady is.

The script to this episode was better then any other Royle Family episode and that is saying a lot. I have never seen the cast act so well together and in my 19 years of being on this earth that was the first programme where i actually cried and i hardly ever cry.

It was ok but still disspointed. Alot of things that irritated me. They changed the style of filming. very stiff and didn't have the feel that I usually have with Royle Family.Usually I feel i'm in the room with them.Fading out scenes, music in the background. But the worse was when i thought she died in the morning, but she wasn't. Better if they just let her die when she found he in the morning.still very moved in a few scenes.

Because it felt like the old episodes when she went in to see her in the morning. I thought she died then. Also the slo mo's and music takes away the real emotions the program is famous for. Nice episode but felt more like an episode of ER towards the end.
