And the debate rages on. Fact of the matter is, you can't crucify an organization who mainly advocates birth control (the pill and such) as a primary means of preventing pregnancy, for offering abortion as a secondary service to women. PP has no active control over whether a woman becomes pregnant or not, they just simply offer her the means to prevent pregnancy or to terminate one if she so chooses. You don't have the right to tell someone else what is the best decision for them.

THOUSANDS of other animal species abort their fetuses on regular basis, depending on wether they can take care of the baby at the time.

THOUSANDS more, EAT their babies after they are born, also depending on if they feel they can take care of them at that time.

Why are humans any different?

If we can't take care of a child, why bring it into this world to suffer, and make the lives of others harder? And waste tax money trying to support it maybe?

Because we are not animals. We are humans, capable of reason beyond simple survival of the fittest. We are the only species that takes care of its weak and sickly, with no natural reason, from the beginning of civilization.

We should bring the child into the world because keeping it is not the only option. Many infertile couples would give limbs for a baby, and don't think of it as making their life harder. There are many adoptive families in which children feel loved with no blood relation.
