This is so much like WoW! Kind scary. Graphics are much better on this though, and it seems a little less cookie cutter than warcraft.

that's because warcraft was based on the mythology of warhammer :) they just dumbed it down so it'd reach a wider audience. Warhammer is the original, though the game is ironically the noobie.

nothing was dumped down, it's just different, they didn't have warhammer liscene(doh) and they expanded lore as well.

Still, Warhammer has much older lore and this looks so badass :(

excatly, because macs dont have nothing to run. and when you do find something to run it either goes wrong or aint even worth running.

macs are rubbish all the way to there mobo.

macs cant even access its hardware proberly. the windows engine unlocks a dame lot more processing power for all its hardware compaired to macs. macs youll be lucky running a game, music and a calculator.

if you want a apple mac type computer then you might as well go to linux, at least they know what they are doing.

what is your preferred play style? if you like melee and healing you'd love the DoK or warrior priest. If you like healing and casting, shaman or archmage, if you like tanking, black orc or ironbreaker, and if you're a sucker for ranged dps, well, you have a lot of options :P It comes down to what you'd like to be doing in a fight, be it up front, or behind, support or main damage... there's a class that fits everyone's personality.

Warhammer was WAY before Warcraft, even the strategic Warcraft, so it is more likely for Warcraft to get ideas from Warhammer. Of course orcs, elves, dwarfs, and all that crap was also in LOTR in 1940's and even beofore that there were stories of orcs, etc. So basically no one copied no one.

that should be good to run on full settings, just might want to turn it down for big rvr. luckily it's a really easy task because there's graphics settings profiles you can setup.

well my server meets that requirement! Ulthuan. I would like to say there's a free trial but i dunno just yet. As for the preview weekend, that was part of the open beta launch and is now over. If you played DAoC or WoW you will love this game!

they're quest rewards, rvr rewards, and I'd imagine that epic mobs drop them too.

One thing the vid doesn't show is how the shaman gameplay evolves over the next several levels. You get a whole array of DoTs, but also HoTs, shields, and even DoT/HoT combos, which heal your defensive target while hurting your offensive one. You can also steal action points so you're never out of the mix. Your damage spells buff your heals and vice versa, so a couple of DoTs buff up your HoT nicely and alternating them keeps you topped off and LOTS of damage all over your target.

The shaman mushroom shoulder trophy I had trouble with but eventually I could get it to pop around different locations. It looked best hanging from the belt--a very small cluster of wild mushrooms, tied to the belt with a string.

About the shoulders, I was thinking... probably trophies show over that piece of gear and since you have no shoulder pads it don't show.
