  • This guitar riff is literally the song from DOOM-E1M1 haha

  • the voice of a metal god

  • kamelot without khan is like a bird without wings :(

  • Take her with you, Ariel!

  • Kamelot without Roy is like The Cat in the Hat... minus the Cat.

  • Bye Roy...

  • WTB a good live version!!!!

  • roy is the best singer in metal he can hit every note perfectly

  • man listening to old kamelot makes me realize how sub par new kamelot has become :(

there's still occasional gem, but overall the quality has declined

  • @heason this is your opinion! i think they sound just as great as always!

  • @heason Well I've listened to old Kamelot and new Kamelot and I just can't get away. I "Love them to death"

  • @heason

If you are talking about the great pandemonium album i agree. Anyone that doesn't is a disillusioned fanboy.

  • @BigBaldAndBadass i love the great pandemonium and that song introduced me to kamelot stuff so i aint no fangirl. in my case, i can see it from a different perspective and let me tell you they are as fantastic as ever!

  • @IvanTsarina

    no

  • @BigBaldAndBadass yes, they are.

  • @IvanTsarina

You may like them for some other reason and that is fine but the passion and intensity of the previous albums is not there in The Great Pandemonium. If you can not hear this then you need to listen a little closer.

  • @BigBaldAndBadass I listen to Kamelot everyday and I pay special attention to every single song of theirs as I love them a lot. That's why I can't believe some people can't appreciate such a masterpiece as the whole PftP is just because it doesn't sound like their previous albums. We already have Karma, we already have Epica, the Fourth Legacy, why to repeat them and not to try something new?

Kamelot is a band formed by great musicians and all of their albums prove it

  • @BigBaldAndBadass I have to agree with BigBaldAndBadass, it seem's they are selling out to the masses with their newer album. It sounds more mainstreamish than their previous album's, and is a bad direction as most mainstream crap is crap!

  • @Replicatorz if i'm honest, i think the new album sounds even darker and less mainstream-ish than their previous album. but every album shares the same superior quality and epicness. and thats why kamelot are so awesome!!!

  • There is a GTA called Lost and Damned.

  • @colt950 Lost and damned is dlc, not a game. But whatever :D

  • wow it's my first time hearing this band O: I'm going to check out more songs

  • wow whoever disliked this is a douche. I love the hidden meanings behind each rhythm and style of their music. It really tells a story.

  • masterpiece !! Just can not wait to see them in Poland !!

all the best or the beast ??!!

  • I fucking love this band.

  • This is not Epica for Christ sakes know what you are posting this is Kamelot Epica is fronted by Simone Simmons UGH Roy nad Simone sing together occasionally they are not the same band

  • This is not Epica for Christ sakes know what you are posting this is Kamelot Epica is fronted by Simone Simmons UGH

  • @777Midian "Epica" is the title of Kamelot's album -.-''

  • @777Midian YOU should know what you're posting. In fact, Mark Jansen, left After Forever and founded Epica, and you know why he called the band Epica? Because he loved Kamelot's album, THIS album, so he chose to name his band after this awesome work. Before spitting nonsense you should inform yourself better.

  • @fuxefuxe you know your history! Thumps up!

  • roy khan's voice is 10000x better than the old vocalis!!!

he sounds like a crow getting raped!!!!

  • @asono hahaha, the old vocal part was funny! Khan rules!

  • Roy Khan can be awesome yeah, but when he sings he looks like he is crying

  • @0Seyren0 true that

  • @0Seyren0 and this matters......how?

  • @CaptainCrane It doesnt matter, but just saying, nobody is perfect

  • @0Seyren0 I would cry too, if I had a perfect singing voice, looked good in leather pants and had a name that literally means "king leader"

  • @ChienesSaventPas lol i would too

  • 6 people is lost and damned >:O

  • Bought Epica back in 2003 when it was released, great album, even after 7 years, still loving it!

  • Helena approaches Ariel to tell him that she's pregnant, but never gets that far. Ariel is convinced that the deal he has with Mephisto will cause her too much pain and suffering. He is anyway seeking a higher goal than love. He tells her decisively to forget all about him and leave.

The tango-like verse in this song is an attempt to musically describe the tension between Helena and Ariel. Fabricio Alejandro is featured on the bandoneon.

  • @MaoDaAmargura uh, Helena doesn't die until after this song when she drowns herself in a river...

  • Haha, funny, I read 15 pages of posts here and found some of my old post, nearly 1 year and a half ago, where I was saying that Epica is my fav band ever... Haha, If I knew at that time that this statement wouldnt have a long life... I get deeper into Kamelot a few time after writing those, and since that, I cannot see any other band in all mankind history that could overshadow'em... they are just perfect...

Oh, and to continue an old trip among comments: Roy Khan is Norwegian! =D

  • Again excellent as usual.

  • is just me or this sounds like tango?!not the entire song but...

im born to be one haha

  • @FireFly6303 They're from Tampa, Florida, USA .dude- with some fellas from Norway along for the ride-

  • This song is amazing. This band blends different sounds so well. And Roy Khan is an amazing vocalist. He handles different tones like their all second nature.

  • @kaneslittlebrother

He was trained as an opera singer for 3 years, but then his opera teacher was getting mad at him when he joined a metal band (Conception) because "he was ruining his operatic voice". And his teacher told him to choose between opera and metal. And Khan chose metal, because he felt that opera was always a little too stiff.

    (:

And that's why he's so good at singing... he was classically trained for three years.

  • @InsanePuppy11010 Good choise ^^

  • @InsanePuppy11010 Perhpaps what his teacher said is why he had to leave Kamelot. :/

  • Khan is my favorite vocalist. Kamelot is amazing. This song is so EPIC <3

  • this song is amazing! It combines sounds of the North, dark and strong, with sounds of spain and latin america in the parts that the melody sounds like tango! It's like a travel around the world

  • I'm the kinda guy who finds one band and then just listens to only them all the time. Kamelot is that band right now.

Gonna order this album some day now... I mean, the few bands that I actually like I might as well support. Besides, I like the cover and the little manual with lyrics, looks good on the shelf too ;)

  • does anyone realize that the beginning guitar riff after the "intro" section is the main song from Doom?

  • Dude! it is! haha

  • muy buenooo

  • ok to clear things up, The band Epica actually took the album name "Epica". They were in studio same time Kamelot were recording that album and thought it sounded nice. This info was taken from an interview:)

  • really? i didn't know that. is this song comin from Epica ( the album) ? (Simone I love you)

  • Comment removed

  • Who is the person hes singing with in 1:58? and again in 2:50. Is it Simone Simons?

  • you're right my dear, it's beautiful simone, (only in the pictures)

  • Don't ask why, Don't be sad, sometimes we must all alter the paths we planned!

Only try, to understand, I tried to save you from the Lost and Damned!

  • ok remind me how the hell britney spears got into this comment box? lol i LOVE this song!

  • best question i ever heard

  • this is one of thier best songs. for some reason though it seems to be kind of overlooked.

  • Shoot...I need to get Epica.

  • Epica: best band ever!

  • I was let down by their most recent album. It's too exhaustive! And they were really trying too hard. I like it, but expected it to surpass Consign to Oblivion. It just came up short...

  • Well, you can say whatever you wan't, you will not succeed in making me dislike Epica! :P, for me, every single one of their song is a masterpiece from all point of views: lyrics, music, singing...

  • I in no way want you to dislike Epica, I like epica. I just needed to vent to a fellow metalhead/Epica fan T__T

  • Forgive me for interrupting, but the band is Kamelot, the album is Epica, and yea; they are awsome beond belief! Rock on.

  • Well, we were talking about Epica cause it's Kamelot who, actually, helped'em to make themselves an name! But you're right, let's talk about Kamelot! ;)

  • what?!!, epica started in 2002 when jansen left "after forever" to form Epica (awesome band by the way), Kamelot started in fucking 1991!! with a different singer of course, but there's no way that kamelot got it's name from epica we're taking about a decade of difference, kamelot is 11 years older than Epica!!, is that what you're trying to say or i'm getting you wrong?

  • Well, I never said that, I said Epica get it's name from Kamelot's album, because it's Kamelot who revealed Epica!

Or you didn't understand what I said, or I was drunk last time...

  • ahh ok!, i thought you meant the oposite!, i know epica started in 2002 and the album epica from kamelot was released in 2003 i'm gonna look how those names are related

  • oh, i didnt know that thanks! Kamelot for ever.

  • simply awesome song!!!

  • Is it just me, or is the first guitar riff almost EXACTLY like the beginning of the E1M1 song, "At Doom's Gate," from DooM?

    Fucking EXACTLY man

  • i dont know why but i picture people running away form spirits of the damned or whatever, dark forest, full moon, that kinda thing....be awsome if they made that into a video for this song XD
