  • Perhaps the coolest bhang song, I love it!

  • amaizng movie

    gr8 acting

n pritam aan milo awsome song

  • is bhang marijuana (ganja)

  • Yes, Bhang is Made from Cannabis

  • Coming back to Pancham da, he was in his elements when that unforgettable team of Pancham da & Gulzar saab gave us melodies after melodies non-stop that are soaked in their mutual brilliance.

  • I have been searching for this Pancham-Gulzar classical comedy song for ages. Only Pancham would have composed this great beauty in a K L saigal mould :) Thank you my friend.

  • Your statement is paradoxical. You talk of KL Saigal mold and then you also talk of ONLY pancham composing in it. Hell, the mould is there because of KL Saigal and not because of Pancham.

  • when you see the time of release, context of the song, I hope you may agree that it is not that paradoxical!

  • I used to respect RD Burman a lot, untill I discovered all the western insipired, in fact copied numbers that made him famous.

  • Indianizing any western numbers is as much a 'crime' as using the traditional folk tunes of India! And who has not done it?

If Naushad saab used the UP folk tunes, O P Nayyar saab took the Punjabi folkies, Sachin da & Salil da gave us the Bengali & North Eastern tunes.... The point is, beyond this 'copying' have they enriched the Bollywood music? To which I humbly answer, yes they did.

  • The point is not whether others did it or not,the point is that he did it. Also, unlike folk music, if they pick from someone's work, they should at least acknowledge. It should be mentioned on the film and the music record. I know O P Nayar, Naushad and Salil borrowed music time to time and without acknoeledgement, but I thought that RD Burman didn't do that, sadly it was not the case. The only guy who seems original now is Rehman.

  • About this Rehman guy,I was a big fan. But, ask any Tamil listeners of 70s & 80s to know his 'sources' of inspiration. He was a smalltime keyboard player polishing his skills under the headmastership of Maestro Illaiyaraja before Mani Ratnam gave him a break in Roja. He is just working with better technology & improvising on the musical templates that Raaja had already done two decades before. Lot of non-Tamil listeners know Raaja for his heart rending compositions in Sadma(1983).

  • hmm i didn't know that, although I have listened to Illaiyaraja's music and it was very good.

  • cool song!!!

  • superb!

  • really entertaining movie.
