we have a jack russel called daisy who is very friendly and a springer spaniel called holly our cocker spaniel called milly died just over a year ago now she died of a brain tumor it was very sad she was black aswell and very cute in the snow she used to run off and then run back really quickly shee adorable and i miss her loads :(

I was told cockers grow up to be very, very mean and bitey. But then I got my girl Marley (black american cocker, she's a little over a year old now!) and she's the sweetest little thing. She's proof (to me) that it's about how the dog is raised, not that certain breeds are born "mean." Marley loves my brother's friend's pitbulls too. :P

@Elma1980 Thats like looking at my own cocker spaniel at that age! Behaves the same as yours with other dogs! They're great pets,companions,hunters but they get into alot of mischief!!! I have a jet black English cocker, hes 15 months old. They do well as an in door dog, and love tracking wing birds along river banks and marsh's.
great video and great music. How funny how the breed of a dog can inspire a music. Where I just only watch videos of pit bulls almost begging, yet not quite for their quality of behaviours. Cocker spaniels never would, and perhaps because their owners would not display such instinct in fighting, in the first instance. The presence and companionship and playfullness is primordial in any companionship. Thank you and shame pitbulls ended up putting up such fight for their own survivals on ERRORS

@themightybmonkeydust I had a black cocker just like this one on the video. Her name was CorrieAnne. I had to have her put down after 14.5 years old. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. It will be awhile before I get another one.

@LSU014 Cockers are AWESOME! Around here everyone seems to want "bad boy" dogs like Rotts and Pitts. But ive always had cockers.

Lovely to see a dog loved so much. I have a black cocker or a field spaniel, can't tell which as he was adopted. He looks so much like Daisy and I love him the way you love your Daisy.

i remember when my cocker spaniel used to be that small and he was terrified to go down stairs, he would shake uncontrollably if you carried him up or down even one step...good old days

My pup Zoe, is a english cocker springer spaniel. The mom was a golden pure bred cocker spaniel. We are not exactly sure about the father though. We have been told and read that she looks like other types of spaniels.

May I ask one question? Do you live in a house or an apartment, because I REALLY want an English cocker spaniel, but I live in an apartment and my dad is TOTALLY against a dog in an apartment. :(
I know that spaniels are really active dogs,so I dunnow what to do. :(
