Any advice how to star? what to look for ? what to stay away from? His safety is first want to make sure that i'm doing the right thing!!!! Any advice will be helpfull...thank you
@tonytouch39 I wouldnt worry about a team first. You should find a few local MX tracks that run quads. Buy him a quad suited for motorcross like a DRR or APEX or maybe even a cobra. Get a good helmet, a Leatt or EVS neck brace, chest protector, boots, gloves and goggles. Just let him race and get some seat time, a little practice and experience will get him ready. As he gets ready, look for bigger races (regional) or possibily even a national event. Being a team member isnt necessary to race.
@garandolph I believe the FXR150 would run the supermini class, put the 125cc motor in it and it could run 90mod and 90 production. A 300X would probably be in the school boy jr class.
@garandolph He is 10 years old and rides a 90 DRR. He has a cobra but he doesnt have much time on it. He is running a malossi motor, when tuned correctly it will haul the mail.

What are the diffrent classes for youth 90cc and above? What class could a Pitster Pro FXR150R take? What could a TRX300X take?
