@TheFiddlah Hey John, i do use Vegas for all the movies i do but for the snow effect i simply downloaded a free snow effect vid from the net and played it in a loop as a backdrop.

Pretty sweet, except that it sounds like the rhythm section is just following the melody around instead of playing the actual chord changes of the piece. This tune actually has some really cool underlying harmony and if the bass and rhythm guitar were doing that, it could be just as rockin' but like 5 times more majestic and triumphant.

@geoffstockton Maybe thats what was meant, ya know a little punk / metal feel to the music.... i think if this guy had done what your saying it would have sounded very clinical.

@RockGuitarReviews I don't know, does Hark The Herald Angels Sing, usually sound clinical? Or does it just sound like nicely placed chord changes? Because that's what I was talking about, just using the chord changes of the tune. Nice chord changes are allowed to exist in punk and metal. If you don't believe me, drop me a line at the beginning of next December and I'll record a punk/metal version with the original chord changes and it'll will be far from clinical sounding.
