Tekken x Street Fighter - Where Is The Game We Were Promised?

It was stated back in 2010 that SFxT was going to be released first since Namco is focusing on Tekken Tag 2. Namco will probably announce it sometime this year. maybe E3 or some shit. don't worry it's coming

Namco said they were going to start developing Tekken X Street Fighter after Street Fighter X Tekken was released.

The only reason y sxt is coming out before txs us because capcom is half assing again like with what they did with mv3 so instead of doing a good job and giving us all of the right characters the first tim around we will probably see and ultimate version like mv3 ..... capcom keeps fucking up look at megaman, look at the new dante

@NARUTORASENGAND To be honest, I'd rather have Namco do Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for the PS3 if it meant they had to choose between that or Tekken X Street Fighter. Plus, Street Fighter X Tekken looks like it's running on a modified Street Fighter IV engine (gameplay + graphics)...

@NARUTORASENGAND And Namco was also working on Soul Calibur V too. So you can't blame Namco for not getting Tekken X Street Fighter out at the same time as Street Fighter X Tekken. I mean they were working on makin Soul Calibur V and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. =) We're gonna get the game eventually in 2012 I think, or worst case it gets canceled.

@NARUTORASENGAND I know that they said both games would be released at the same time, but it's not surprising that we're getting Street Fighter X Tekken first since Capcom is done with Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (well Ono-san was done) and well, Namco is working on Tekken Tag Tournament for the arcades and also doing the console versions. They need to take care of their main game series first ya know?

Tekken x street fighter is coming soon besides they have soul caliber 5 coming out soon and then tekken tag 2 coming out holiday 2012

I think it was on Twitter last year that Harada mentioned that they haven't started with TxS yet. Maybe once they're done with the release of Tag 2 on consoles they will get things rolling. And I remember he's still thinking of how they will implement the projectiles of the Street Fighter characters in the game.

This is where I disagree with this. I think it would make a lot more sense to sell the games in different timeframes due to the fact that the consumer will have ample time to enjoy both, since in one of the earlier interviews I watched, Harada said he won't be releasing TxSF until "after the apocalypse".

Namco are currently working on Soul Caliber V and Tekken Tag tournament 2 so they are going to work on Tekken X Street Fighter after them. They also said they want to release SfXT and TxSf a while after each other so they dont take away from each others sales

@zeyn9 The Soul Calibur and Tekken team are two different teams working in the same company. I think Tekken's development team's name is Tekken Project Team and Soul Calibur has Project Soul. With Tekken x Street Fighter, they would still have Capcom's input on the development of the game much like the Tekken team did with SfxT.

namco is going to work on it its namco is working tekken tag 2 and other tekken titles dude
