  • Jigsaw

    No!!!

  • This movie sucked.

  • When I first saw the commercial on TV back in 1992, I happened to have a blank tape in the VCR and, at the speed of light, hit "record". I must have just watched the commercial 30 times.

  • i dont see why it was so hated back when it came out i mean obviously its nothing compared to the tv series & it really didnt some up any of the cliff hangers that the season finale had but honestly it wasnt even as bad as i thought it was gonna be i liked it, i

  • I actually like the movie more than the show. The show seems tamer than Lynch's other projects, so the movie one ups it in that regard. Plus it doesn't suffer from studio meddling (the final episode ending on a cliff hanger, what's up with that?)

  • Hey, what's up fire. Take a walk with me.

  • The best scene in the movie is when that kid with giant nosed mask just randomly jumps out of the bushes and disappears. It's so hilarious, horrifying, and surreal all at the same time.

  • i actually liked this movie it was actually really nice seeing more twin peaks after i watched my whole gold box

  • It doesn't make sense, and for David Lynch, that is expected but I respect this because it makes you feel. 8/10 for me. This isn't David Lynch's best work but I love this movie and the entire Twin Peaks series.

  • i don't understand any of this carp :(

  • I AM HEALTH3MAN,I WILL HELP YOU

    take a look youtube gurubesarisa me3njadi health3man,health3man part 1 end part 2,teletherapy gurubesarisa(health3man)

  • lynch's best song in any movie is "in heaven" from eraserhead... just had to put that out there....

  • @Blinkyboy99 Yes you would. Personally I think this movie is disappointing in contrast to the show, but I liked it as a separate product from it. I still like it for what it is and it's way better than its reputation. I guess the main problem with this film is:

    a) If you haven't seen all TP-episodes, you will spoil it, and you will not understand what's goin on.

    b) If you have seen the entire show, the movie becomes predictable and it just feels like something else than the show.

  • doesnt the trailer kind of give away who killed laura

  • @alexenterprises1 If came out after the series so everybody probably already knows who the killer is. But if people who never seen the series saw this trailer they would have a whole great series ruined

  • anyone got that songs from FIRE WALK??s, the sexyiest sound i heard all thru 90's!! . The bar scene and the last song in vid... thanx

  • for all this movie's imperfections, i still loved the shit out of it. i loved getting to spend another two hours in the world of Twin Peaks, and getting to see Lynch finally go wild after having to contain his ideas within the TV-14 restrictions. The entire bar sequence is nothing short of breathtaking.

  • i nearly start crying just watching the trailer... that's a sign of a pretty awesome movie!

  • @jennyheei Me too. This and Magnolia and Requiem for a Dream are the only movies to make me cry in a long time, though the latter film could be chalked up more to shock value than actually caring about the characters necessarily.

  • I felt the story was just to much about Laura and not so much about the characters we all knew and loved from Twin Peaks. To many other characters were scaled back to much or not in the movie at all.

Now the movie in itself isn't exactly bad but it was just a bad way to wrap up the TP story.

  • @Vendrell The movie is supposed to be about Laura. It's supposed to be about the week before she died.

  • @spittingcigarettes

I know is was supposed to be about Laura, i've seen the movie but the series wasn't exactly about laura, it was about the town of Twin Peaks and it's residents and all the little storylines that went a long with it. So to wrap up twin peaks making laura the focus just didn't do it for me. Again, not saying it was a bad movie I just thought it was a bad way to put the stamp down on the story of TP.

  • @Vendrell unfortunately it doesn't even wrap it up it just leaves more questions

  • Love the musi of this film, the scenes on the bar are great.

  • I hated this movie at first. Don't know why. I love it now. One of David's best. Better than Lost Highway IMO

  • greatest tv show... ever... pure genius...

  • what's the name of the song near at 1:00?

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think this movie is weird at all.. it's incredibly evocative and one of the most shattering portrayals of incest that has ever existed.. it shows a life completely destroyed by it.. if that's not a worthwhile examination of the primary storyline of the series, what would be? Is it more interesting if a normal depressed girl just killed herself?

  • I wish Lara Flynn Boyle had played Donna instead of this dumb founded looking Donna. Other than that, I loved this movie.

  • I love twin peaks but this movie didn't really do it for me. I would have been happy with the mystery surrounding Laura's death that they established in the show. For me personally the only positive thing the movie added was that last shot of Coop defending Laura in the black lodge

  • algún día la veré!

  • Really didn't think the film worked... It spends too long showing us what a car crash Laura was when that's really nicely put across in the series. Don't get me wrong, middling Lynch is better than most other directors' best, but I felt FWWM spent too much time on redundant stuff (the stuff with Desmond and Stanley for instance).

  • The greatest tv show of all time

  • the tv series were better

  • Almost nothing got resolved by the end of this. 90% of this movie is just laura having sex, drinking, smoking, and sniffing heroin. Very disappointed.

  • @greenbay357 AHAHAHHA SNIFFING HEROIN LOOOL

  • not a very good trailer I must say... good show though

  • can i watch this and understand it? or do i need to watch the tv series first?

  • @goemon9378

I would say you HAVE TO watch the series first, because the movie gives you informations, that will destroy all the suspense of the series.

  • Any news on if the deleted scenes will ever be compiled? Last I heard, 45 minutes or more of character stuff (Lucy, Hawk, Big Ed and Norma, etc) were left on the cutting room floor for tonal reasons. Half of the footage was Laura's dark/terrifying/redemption story, and half was the comedic/tender story of our beloved characters...and they didn't mesh, and together Lynch said they came to nearly 4 hours of footage. It would be nice to finally see them after all the rumors of what they contain.

  • I was 11 when Twin Peaks arrived in Italy, in spite of the age I followed it and it shook me a lot...I'd like to watch the entire job again

  • Great movie!!!

    I love Twin Peaks world...

  • I saw this movie first, didn't make sense but creeped me out - saw the series, then watched the movie again and it made so much more sense and I realised just how amazing a film it really is.

Best series in history for me, hands down. What an experience.

  • Yeah its connected.... though this is a prequel so u can watch this movie then watch the series even though the series came first.

  • Sorry this is a stupid question, but does anyone know if the movie itself is related to the series? I am asking because I never saw the series and this will come out on Blu-ray soon and I'm a huge David Lynch fan. Please reply.

  • @WayTooDazedConfus3d watch the series first. k? k.

  • @WayTooDazedConfus3d This is a prequel to the series - however, some things won't make sense without seeing the series. For a David Lynch film, it's not unusual for things to not make sense, but the movie does work a lot better if you've seen the series, it's much more emotional and powerful, and doesn't feel as choppy and cut together. Seeing the movie first WILL be major spoilers for the series, the TV series is a murder mystery (sort of), and this movie is the murder itself in full detail.

  • @DistantJ Thanks for explaining that guess I'll buy the series on DVD then. By the way, the way you explained it sounded like you were a huge David Lynch fan, like you get his movies what he does, I see that too.

  • two of my favorite critically panned films are from 1992 - Twin Peaks:FWWM and Alien 3.

1992-a great year for bad movies

  • @kitchen867 Hey Alien 3 was decent sequel. i could care less what critics say

  • @Magnolia296 "i could care less" is possibly my least favorite expression in the English language. are you being sarcastic? or do you actually care (if only a little) about what critics think?

while i assume you meant "couldn't care less", if what you wrote is indeed how you feel, i appreciate your honesty, and can relate to having a passing interest in critical consensus (of all kinds).

  • this movie is SPECTACULAR. it convinced me not to trust what critics say

  • i thougt it was a thriller??

  • Twin Peaks was amazing, insane but amazing. At the end i was excited for it but scratched my head. Saw the movie and of course it was a David Lynch film not only did it make less sense it complicated things further, and you know i'd not have it any other way. It's a David Lynch film he's not Michael Bay he makes you work for the conclusion. You get what you want from it.

  • Great David Lynch movie about the horrors of child abuse of a father over his daughter. Unforgettable.....

  • My wife is 6 years younger than me and she doesnt get this at all. I have watched just about every episode. Im 36 btw.

  • Twin Peaks: Best TV show in history.

Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me: fucking bullshit.

  • I loved the tv show but this movie was wonderfully boring and stupid. We didn't need prequel. No wonder it was a big Flop in the box office.. Even phenomenally brilliant Sheryl Lee's acting couldn't save this movie. And why the hell they ignored Sherilyn Fenn here? She was the most beautiful, charming and mysterious character in Twin Peaks.

  • @Magnolia296 I totally agree with you, and I can tell you that Sherilyn Fenn wasn't in the cast, just because she refused to partecipate.. and she made the right choise.. who can blame her?

  • @Magnolia296 Who the fuck are you to tell the fans of this movie or David Lynch what they did or did not need.

  • @Silvertrine What? Are you dense? It was my personal opinion. Open your little mind for a different view and everything will be ok

  • @Magnolia296 So that is some kind of shield against criticism, you should be allowed to blather whatever insulting nonsense you want and because its a 'personal opinion' everyone should sit mute. What planet do you live on? You live here with the rest of us you're nothing special.

  • @Silvertrine Did I say that everyone should sit mute? You are so dumb. YT is free forum and not only fans can comment here. It's not my fault that you are so mad and out of control reading other opinions. Get a life sweety!

  • Too bad the "real" Donna did not show op for this movie. I rally liked her.

  • Leland and Laura are alive in this movie? Why?

  • @helenevienna It takes place before the tv show.

  • Am I in the minority with this being my favorite Lynch film? Unbelievably powerful movie.

  • @TheDeadandtheDirty Definitely mine. I didn't like it at first but after the series it's incredibly moving.

  • @TheDeadandtheDirty

Agreed! And I think it brought closure to a lot of the loose ends left in the series.

I saw it for the first time recently, and now I want to see the TV series all over again with a whole new perspective now that I've actually seen what Laura Palmer's tragic life was like.

  • @TheDeadandtheDirty

the best part of "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" goes from the start of the movie, till the moment when Chris Isaak character vanishes without leaving any trace; from that moment on, we enter the boring last seven days of Laura Palmer and, unfortunately, i had to press the "Stop" button of the remote control to avoid falling asleep... what a waste of a great detective story Mister David Lynch...

  • There were two kinds of characters in Twin Peaks... The ones who could have been in a soap opera, and the ones who could have been on Northern Exposure. I wish this movie had more of the latter.

  • @Dissent1 Funny, I wish for the former, considering we already had Northern Expsoure. (Yes, we already had soap operas, but not a David Lynch soap opera.

  • great film, I only wish Lara Flynn Boyle could have played Donna in it!

  • @5346278 You mean - I only wish Lara Flynn Boyle would have played Donna in it!

She actively didn't want to be in the movie

  • @njnorth1 yes that's what I mean

  • just as soon as i finish up Twin Peaks i will watch this. God im so dreading the end. I want that show to just go on forever! BEST SHOW EVER!

  • @jackel2072 I was exactly the same ! Just didnt want it to end ! Such a great series you get dragged into the Twin Peaks world.

  • Great cast, i just started watching it and i am HOOKED tight. Could be a lil bit longer maybe.. 3 season? considering of the plot. Maybe they could expand the movie and cut it into episodes. I've read some people hated it because of lara flynn boyle not being in it and kyle machlachlan not being so much in it? also no audrey horne? wow, i like 'em as actors but damn what a bunch of aholes, funny how this and only this are they're most known for today... fate is funny.

  • yeah when I saw this in high school I was freaked out by ceiling fans for a while after that. lol

  • sorry to say this, but the movie has nothing in comparison with the serie, the tv serie was SO much better. !

  • umm i think the person was doin meth when he did this movie >_>

  • Love Twin Peaks Love David Lynch Love this Film :)

  • Watching any part of this gives me the chills!

  • Wow... I can only imagine what it would be like, sitting in the theater back then, being a huge Twin Peaks fan (which I am), Twin Peaks is cancelled, you start hearing the theme music and then Laura pops on the screen... I would probably be cheering my lungs out!

  • @blakohli8ios I know right!? I'm a huge TP fan, too! And I'm really new to the series. I watched it in about two weeks.

  • @blakohli8ios yea until you saw the movie and demanded your $6 movie ticket back.

  • @blakohli8ios the series wasnt cancelled, it came to it's conclusion..

  • @mutepg58 I'm not sure how you can say that... the series left with an incredible cliffhanger...

  • @wookie72 i wouldn't call it a cliff hanger, but my point was only that it was not cancelled.

  • @mutepg58 Actually, it was most definitely cancelled due to low ratings. There was a very sincere effort to try to save it by the fans, but ABC definitely cancelled it. Trust me: I watched every episode when it first aired, and followed along on the Usenet groups. A LOT of people were very upset by the ending, and the movie was not guaranteed at that point.

  • @wookie72 Yes the ratings dropped soon after Lauras killer was revealed early in the 2nd series, alot of people thought its was going in no direction. I heard its was originally set for 3 series but it got pulled off air soon after mid way in the 2nd series. However due to demand, Frost and Lynch were allowed 6 episodes to wrap the entire series up.

  • @wookie72 Lynch more so than Frost was very unhappy that he was given such a short time to wrap the series up and didnt not end the original way they had planned. Frost, who contributed as much as Lynch towards the series, had many arguments with ABC and Lynch and to this day there is still beef between them.

  • @ADZ01982 I think it was closer to a season ender than a series ender... I definitely think that the ending was, well, unsatisfying.

  • On a planet called Earth,...no one is innocent!

  • one of the scariest movies i ever saw......creepy as hell....david lynch is a genius.......pure genius....this movies still gets me...everytime...hard to watch at nighgt....

  • deadly premonition game looks like this movie

  • Deadly Premonition is an awesome game.

  • you must have to seen many scary movies this movie is not scary its more of a porno than scary and a SOAP OPERA

  • Watched yesterday, a masterpiece, vastly underated. Remembered me the best Twin Peaks, so nostalgic and surrealist, fantastic movie!

  • No, the film is set before the death of Laura Palmer. I highly recommend you watch fantastic creepy film.

  • how was the movie i liked the show

  • That was intense

  • classic film,beautiful music

  • Goes to show that a lot of critics don't know what they're talking about. I mean how little do you have to know about film to call this a bad piece of work?

  • I'm not saying this just because I'm a huge fan of this movie, but Sheryl Lee's acting is, imho, the best performance in film history. Seriously. Hard to believe she was originally hired for her look only.

  • "Sheryl Lee's acting is...the best performance in film history"

    I agree. :)

  • Seen all episodes & film when younger, loved episodes thought film ok.Now 19 years later love episodes even more & film gets better & better with each viewing.

  • Confused now...I thought Kiefer Sutherland was supposed to be in it...

  • he is. he is in the intro. the part of the film that transpires at deer meadow. chris isaak is also in that part.

  • Johnrunion: Hi, thanks. I have found it now. Been searching everywhere. I didn`t know Chris Isaac was also an actor :-)

  • isaak actually has quite a few credits now. he played a clown pulling a robbery in married to the mob; a guard in silence/lambs. he was the lead adult male actor in little Buddha. he was also in grace/heart and that thing you do. he also had his own short lived show that wasn't very good where he played himself. you are very welcome. the character keifer plays in tp:fwwm is mentioned in the tp tv pilot.

  • @johnrunion He was in the running for the Ray Liotta part in Something Wild.

  • @wookie72 yes, i have heard that. i wonder why he didn't end up doing the role.

  • Like this ;D

  • My word the Palmer family need therapy! That girl in the red dress pulling faces made my skin crawl.

Also love Lynch's deaf FBI guy and that crazy bloke with the long grey hair that kept jumping out on Laura.

    PS. Little Mike rules!

  • WOMAN IN TROUBLE

  • Nice trailer.

I have seen all the episodes of the tv series but never this film.

  • you sir, have no idea what you are talking about.

  • You must be very silly to write such stupid comment. Go back to your popcorn-cinema-movies and don't bore us with your ignorance. No plot? Haha, the biggest plot there ever was in tv-history, but you just don't get it. =)

  • @Trondyard i agree awesomecomment

  • @LVEMEDO

Yeah, thanks, but sorry, if someone just writes such a shit about TWIN PEAKS, it has to be said, that the depth of this great series and movie from David Lynch (and Mark Frost) is really unbelievable. For me TWIN PEAKS is by far the best thing I ever watched on TV. I have all episodes on DVD and it's such a pleasure everytime I see it. So much love, fun, suspense and fear in this masterpiece. Cheers...

  • @Trondyard I agree with everything you said TY there has never been anything that comes close to TWIN PEAKS it was groundbreaking TV then & Ibelieve if it came out right now it still would be groundbreaking IT IS MY FAVORITE PROGRAMME OF ALL TIME some people don,t get that fact BUT THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SHOW do you get it are you suppose to get it REALLY DOES NOT MATTER it can,t be beating by anything else i have seen

  • @Trondyard

    Well said!

  • @Trondyard I would've agreed with you, but then I saw the second season.

  • @Trondyard

    *one of the biggest plots

  • I saw all the episodes of Twin Peaks and this movie looks great, i think i will see it soon. So sad that the last episode ends with a cliffangher . . .

  • Twin Peaks is a most best TV show ever made. Angelo Badalamenti Twin Peaks Theme is a best score i ever heard.

I'dont no why hate some people Fire Walk With Me movie is amazing.

  • Fire Walk With Me is a remarkable film, but make sure you're very familiar with the series first or you'll be lost. I'm glad Lynch got to explore the darker side of Twin Peaks without the censorship accompanied by TV programming, but I naturally loved the lighter side seen in the series as well.

  • i wanna watch the episodes online ! but cbs says can't show video in your region ... screw u cbs...and every other website shows all episodes BUT the LAST 8 !! what the fuck !!!

  • a great great movie!

  • wish i could rewatch the tv show..

  • Buy the DVD.

  • Some people just dont understand art! TThe y find it hard to step out of the small box. No need arguiing though. This sort of cinema/music/sphere stops me from breathing, It even brings tears to my eyes. Finally i feel understood. Life begins with Lynch and Badalamenti. Pure Art!

  • whats the song in the beginning?

  • twin peaks theme song.

I think it's called questions in a world of gray.

  • Twin peaks is the BEST, favourite show ever, it is brilliant and can be truly terrifying, i love it

  • Everything about this movie is great. Watched it many times and it just gets better every time. And the soundtrack is out of this world! Fantastic!

  • I'm reading that many people suggest watching the whole series before watching this movie (i haven't watched either of the 2 yet)..wasn't it the other way round? That is "Fire walk with me" was thought of as a prequel to the whole tv series and episodes ?thank u

  • It is a prequel, but it spoils the central mystery of the show which is: Who killed Laura Palmer? You should definitely watch the show first.

  • @kiketta You should definitely watch the series first. The movie only really makes sense in connection with the series.

  • i loved it!

  • twin peaks has something on

  • I'm one of those few people that *loved* this movie. Forever.

  • omg, it's the Tim and Eric hug guy!

  • Seems like another blue velvet

  • I love this movie. Critics were hard on it, but I think that this was a movie made for the fans. If you aren't a TP fanatic, you won't get it.

  • i really dont get the end can you tell me i only got to see about 40 mins of this film

  • Totally love the song.

  • I live a few blocks from "Donna Hayward"'s house in this movie. It's still that weird, fug shade of green.

  • lol i foolishly watched fire walk with me last night without watching any of the episodes i got fuk all of this movie

  • I saw the movie when it came out and I hadn't seen the tv show so you can't even understand it. I had to go back and watch all the episodes then watch it again.

  • Best series ever, best music ever, best director ever, best actors ever, REAL CINEMA, instead of all that other garbage that is produced. Lynch, my hero!

  • @RecollectionRoad i hear you man!!! i agree completely! I am obsessed with David Lynch and everything that has to do with him!!! he better hurry up and make some more films pretty soon here! lol

  • This didn't come out until about 97/98 in Australia. I had no idea it was made in 92, I thought it was remarkable how none of them had aged in the slightest!

  • Comment removed

  • Could someone pls tell me what is the point of the movie?? I watched it but i didnt understand whats going on......tbh i never watched the tv series....

  • i wouldnt understand what was going on even if you did watch the tv series...

  • Hmm, difficult one. I don't think even Lynch could answer that one. He says that he was fascinated by the character of Laura and wanted to explore the last week of her life in detail but the film DOES require prior knowledge of the series and has sequel qualities. I think of the point of the movie is not to understand it but to think about how it makes you feel. I think it's probably the most disturbing movie ever made and a masterpiece personally.

  • Watched the film last night and i though it was very good. It was a great way to "end" the whole series.

  • music is amazing

  • David Lynch is a genius.

  • U Right, David Lynch is a genius.

  • There is two things I remember of that movie: When Gordon Cole (David Lynch) shouts O-RE-GON! and when agent Cooper (MacLachlan) watches himself in real-time on a monitor (scary stuff).

  • one of the best ever films. no one other than lynch could make this...no one else is brave enough. john

  • you said it John.

  • thanks MCMicel1979.
