I wish Tyner had recorded more with Williams. The Soothsayer by Wayne Shorter is the most kick ass rhythm section ever minus Reggie Workman or Richard Davis. Shorter's compositions plus Hubbard, damn. Tyner and Tony were the perfect blend for Wayne Shorter.
@stringrip Jack DeJohnette can do know wrong in my book. He makes thing happen. He plays the drums like Wynton Kelly plays the piano. Harmony, melody, rhythm, and virtuosic taste.
My favorite album of all time- never tired of hearing it..for over 30yrs

I agree , but also think Jack DeJohnette just tore it up here on the track "Hymn-Song" , that was awesome .
