  • long ^^

  • cheers to this longe gone days!!

  • why do they say ruffer in it then

  • This was the best era for hardcore breakbeats.

Yes Red Alert & mike S ha a tune called Ruffer ( was better than this also) so perhaps they changed the name. Thought this was 93

  • @dc110770 I have Dj Red Alert and Mike Slammers track called "Ruff" on Vinyl as opposed to "Ruffer". I think that is the difference.

  • @dc110770 oh no actually I just checked it. It was actually D-force. Being on slammin vinyl I got confused thinking it was RA and MS. So Maybe it RA and MS did do tune Ruffer, not sure though...

  • awsome

  • I think the track was entitled 'Ruffer' on the DJs Unite compilation that showcased Hardcore with Jungle tunes in about mid-94. Also I recall Stu Allan calling it 'Ruffer' when introducing it on his set. It does feature the Poltergeist sample at the intro but constantly chants 'ruffer' through the tune. Perhaps the name was changed due to Red Alert and Mike Slammer's track of the same name to avoid confusion? Dunno...but it's still a really enjoyable tune nonetheless :D

  • thanx for tha upload---this track still kicks...wicked changes/samples

and...according to discogs this title is posted correctly---"ruffer", as cited for the bpm 140+ vol 7 compilation on moonshine(wher i first encountered tha trak)

    g.

  • top tune

  • this tune isnt called ruffer...
