like the concept! It needs some improvement ( its just that I and others I guess are used to the visual of the hand, just the HH in text is fine 2 for me). I don't play even close to stakes U R on, but I hearing u break a hand down, and what things u keep in mind while making decisions is very good. Especially since its on Youtube!!
improve:
- cam,
- visual of HH,
- publishing the vids with same account so ppl can subrscribe 2 the series
Although there were no video aids, this was for free. I'm willing to take the info as it and improvise. Take the cards he mentioned and put it into a card calculator. Then you can see the cards. Write down the bets. If you want better vids with aids, probably best to get a subscription. Visit Cardschat!
I disagree, that was easy to follow along with out the visuals. Personally I like the youtube idea, Keep it a web cam and keep it free, it;s some solid information. Even those that don't agree with it can learn from it.
If he is 3 betting 65ish percent and say foldin 10-15 percent isn' t his flatting range heavily wieghted toward A2-A8? I would think that would be inline with his actual holding of K9.
i agree. visual aids are key. w/out them this is no more than a video blog. Just a little constructive criticism because I know you can take it. You said on Facebook 5-10 hands, however you just nit picked one particular hand. No offense but any JOE can put a video on youtube DESCRIBING a situation that didn't necessarily happen. I'm not saying you made that particular hand up. But we the viewers have no way of seeing what you did while you thought it as we as knowing that it happened
As previously said, it would be nice to have a visual for the analysis. I like how you went over how you deal with those types of players when you're on the button and they're in the blinds.
if you bet, what do you do if he check-raises 3/4 pot on the river?
these "what if" scenarios would be good, i liked the pf "what ifs", but the river "what if" would have been. Also, a visual HH would be nice, even if you have to hide the players' names.
