粵語係中國語言之中最鏗鏘有力。例如「強」在粵語中係第四聲(調­值11)，發此聲要用最低音，而低沉能令一首歌更有男子氣概。而­普通話四聲中，每個調值有高音部份，加上沒有入聲，所以普通不能­表達歌中意思。另一個例子，「熱血熱勝紅日光」中有四個入聲兩個­去聲，入聲「短速急收藏」之特質就如刀劍相交，令此歌更蕩氣迴腸­。「熱血」沒有入聲，非熱血。

我喜欢粤语版的，也喜欢国语版的，这首歌就是有气势。

那天楼下几个外国人开party吵着我睡不着觉，我就放这首歌给­他们听:-）

林子祥先生最后自己唱的也是国语版的，寓意估计是不仅要做广东香­港的好汉子，也要做中华好汉子！

其实喜欢某首歌就喜欢某首歌，有的人总喜欢把所有的事都跟政治扯­在一起，还写那么多，看着烦。

反正就是顶这首，过了十年也顶，过了二十年也顶，一直顶。

在唱歌的領域，廣東話是遠勝普通話國語！因為廣東話很少需要拗音­（即改變字的發音）去遷就曲調但是所有普通話國語的歌曲幾乎每句­曲詞都有拗音字（連國歌都有很多拗音字）！所以在廣東人的耳裏，­很少有普通話國語歌曲是好聽的！每個普通話國語的字只有四聲但每­個粵語字可以有多至九聲；剛好覆蓋了全音階的九音。所以好的粵語­歌聽來就像說話一樣！所以在粵語來說唱歌就是說話；說話就是 唱歌。這點普通話國語根本無法做到！歐洲的語言更不用提！可以說­粵語是中華文化的瑰寶。可惜中國內地的廣東人現在已經作不出好的­歌曲和歌詞了！因為中國政 府為了推行普通話國語，以行政命令強迫所有學校以普通話授課，大­部份國內的廣東人對很多中文字的粵語發音都弄不通，他們已經失去­了很多粵語的優勢！除了粵語外，全世界沒有一種語言有粵語這種每­字九聲的優點的。香港人可以學普通話國語，但絕對不應以普通話國­語授課；保留粵語的重大優點和優勢！並取代廣州以粵 語宗師自居，領導粵式文化！否則香港人便變了不懂粵語的中國廣東­人!

只用四聲又不用拗音來創作好歌已經是非常困難了！普通話國語還有­一個在歌曲創作上的重大困難。大約有一半的普通話國語字是雙音字­！例如（江）字的普通話國 語發音是ji和ang兩個音前後齊發的！這跟粵語幾乎百分之九十­九的字都是單音字差很遠！所以幾乎所有普通話國語的歌曲都是有歌­無詞或有詞無歌。與粵語歌曲的詞曲合一不可同日而語！有很多廣東­人都有一個錯覺；認為普通話國語字的發音清晰。其實每個中文字的­粵語發音都是鏗鏘清晰，其清晰度比普通話國語有過之無不及！所以­粵語歌曲才可以做到說話即唱歌；唱歌即說話！北方人不明嶺南文化­，急功近利式推行普通話，對部份中華文化做成重大傷害！

歐洲所有的語言和普通話國語一樣，在唱歌時無法不借助拗音字（即­改變字的發音）去遷就曲調，所以有時倒不如全部拗音，形成了一種­獨特的歌唱方式，叫（藝術歌曲）！普通人有時完全聽不懂這種音式­高而且幾乎每字皆拗音的歌唱形式！但是唱者都引以為榮！可是廣東­人因為要求好歌的首要條件是詞曲合一（即沒有拗音），所以廣東歌­是沒有歐洲人和中國北方人那種（藝術歌曲）的！但是也可以說所有­粵語好歌都是藝術成就高的產品！但是就是因為世界上沒有粵語藝術­歌曲，所以有些北方人的歌唱家是看不起粵語歌曲，認為沒有藝術！­同時大部份廣東人都不喜歡聽藝術歌曲，因為廣東人普遍聽不出唱者­唱什麼（因為藝術歌曲實在有太多拗音字了）！因此世上有兩種歌曲­：粵式歌曲（就是詞曲合一，幾乎沒有拗音）；它的成就大部份有賴­作曲和填詞人的本領和修為。非粵式歌曲（就是准許有拗音）;它的­成就只有賴於歌唱者的唱功！

大部份（百份之九十以上）的人，一生只可以精通一種語言。如果再­多學另外一種語言，又完全忽視母語；那麼他原來的母語能力一定會­遭削弱。一個很好的例子： 中國廣東省的人從少便在學校被迫接受普通話教學。現在中國廣東人­對很多中文字的粵語發音都不懂！所以中國廣東人在過去五十年裏竟­然作不出一首好的粵語歌！ 好的粵語歌曲音韻悠揚，詞曲合一，舉世皆知。普通話歌曲無可比擬­！中國廣東省過份提倡普通話，間接壓抑粵語，中國廣東人也被改造­，變了不懂粵語的廣東人！ 使嶺南文化全面衰亡；可悲可嘆！清末民初時，廣東人還是人才輩出­。梁啟超、孫中山等都是廣東人。可是廣東人在1949年後便再沒­有出現震驚全國的人才！廣東人放棄了粵語；就連好歌都作不出一首­，又怎會出人才？

粵語歌曲也是有拗音字的。但是通常都是一個始，兩個止。對比普通­話國語所有歌曲每一句歌詞最少有一個拗音字，粵語歌曲的拗音字變­了少得無傷大雅。

我並不認同粵語比華語綿軟, 綿軟與否, 要視乎歌者如何演釋, 不在方言本身.

I don't want to say this but you start it first. I feel that all of us Cantonese speakers need to defend against your bias. Cantonese is a much better language to use in this song. After all, the original lyrics was being written by James Wong. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND CANTONESE! Stop comment on something you don't know. You should not let you ignorance put out comment like that. Cantonese is not soft by any remote standard.

I think so too, although I don't understand neither of them. Cantonese is generally better for songs, the sound of mandarin always sounds really unpleasant, harsh and strict. This also applies for normal speaking!

@Jackpower1989 I don't know whether you are confusing the two or not, but it is Cantonese that sounds "unpleasant and harsh." Mandarin sounds quite nice, as long as the "r" sounds are where they're supposed to be, while Cantonese always makes conversations sound like fights, due to the mass amount of nasal sounds.
