I also play as zangief and save the best for last. But clearly this guy was only learning to play as zangief because he missed a lot of opportunities to grab and 360. i beat the entire all survival on level 8 with zangief. He's my best player, when i play as zangief i rarely lose. In this particular game zangief owns all. The toughest player to fight is RYO. The computer as him on level 8 is a tricky little bastard.

How the phuck do you play with zangief like that? How do you do his moves? Everytime i attempt any of his 360 moves i fail miserably and the character jumps up instead of doing a 360 grab. I bet if you play with ration and only pick zangief and keep doing 360 power moves you'd be undefeated.

forget this comment i officially learned how to play with zangief. i do his grab moves after rolling and after jumping onto opponnent. It took me about 30 minutes on training mode. Then i played v. CPU. Now i see this guy only can do his moves after rolling which is actually easier than after jumping so it's not such "amazing" comeback.

standing 360 moves aren't actually '360, they're actually 270, easiest way is also buffering them while jumping or doing a special etc

while jumping  onto opponent i can do them but it's a little harder to pull off especially if the opponent attacks you while you're in midair trying to pull off a 360 when you land on the ground. It's easier to do the 360 while rolling. I wonder if it's possible to do a 360 while standing in ground and not rolling or jumping?

i think it's possible. the problem is u probably have to do more than 360 to get the move. like Zekestah said the moves are probably started front, back or up then 360 rotation. depends where it starts, as the standing is nutural u may rotate 360+extra angle to pull it off. beside just so u kno super specials like that needs 720 rotation and if u look it's reversed hodling (as both rolled). it was amazing comaback.

720 grabbing special is not hard to pull off. It's just moving your thumb a little faster in a circular motion twice while you're rolling or in the air. Not that hard. After i learned to play with zangief i see that it's not as difficult as i thought. If you play with zangief then you know what i mean.

This is on original Xbox, btw. CVS2 is not playable on the 360 due to backwards compatibility issues. It is not available for download on XBL either. It's one of the few reasons I hold onto my old Xbox, the other being MVC2, which is too glitchy to play on the 360 effectively.

Quite a good comeback though. Zangief is actually decent in this particular game, as opposed to some others I could name...
