@Zanarkand221 Even if I create an original song and practice it, at least 50% is always improvised. I don't like transcribing on sheets and I can't remember every exact detail since usually it's all in the moment. For me, the key to improvising is an inspiration. Without that, you're just playing dumb - at least I am.

@Zanarkand221 Extreme states of emotion/inspiration. That is always key. Whether it is negative or positive, any kind of strong emotion will = inspiration.

@Zanarkand221 Hm, that just comes with practice. If your left hand is harmonizing in a dramatic way, maybe you should have the right hand melody go up then down to create a dramatic melody. A strong melody would have continuous growth in the right hand. It's sort of hard to explain without showing you haha.
