saw the whole serie and it was awesome. At the end Shao Kahn kills all and cature Raiden in Outworld :D Btw. the guy playing Raiden is the same actor that plays Shao Kahn...:D And that horrible helmed of Kahn is only showed in episode 1. :D

The action they have here and the acrobatics are amazing! Mortal Kombat Conquest or I should say Konquest ~_^ and Mortal Kombat & Mortal Kombat Annihilation are the best! They should make a new one since our Effects and actions are far better than ever. Not the Mortal Kombat: Legacy - I don't like it. It sucks like the Street Fighter & Tekken Movie

@Tlovhak They didn't cancel it because of low ratings. Trust me, the ratings were practically off the charts. In fact, they had plans to bring Goro in in Season Two. Unfortunately, they exhausted most of their budget on the first season and had little to no budget for Season Two. There in lies the series cancellation. Lack of funds.

@XxskoolxX No lol The movie Mortal Kombat came before this. Mortal Kombat movie came out with Kung Lao being the ascendant to liu kang who is suppose to be K. Lao's descendant. Notice the raidens are different. Kung Lao exists at that time only in the scripts until Mortal 1 is made which is the movie so to understand the concept of MK they give you an overview of it as an everlasting tournament starting from those times with K. Lao...The concept of who K. Lao is, is older than the 1 in the games

The movie came out around 95 conquest is a series to the movie which came out in 98 i think which is later after the games. I always argue that they should have made the movie like this with K. Lao being in the first tournament and the others and then the next movie should have been with Liu Kang his descendant and then the series which would have made it a bigger hit. But it worked out still.

U can check the dates on IMDB. But Kung Lao in conquest is newer than the movie and the games...The concept of Kung Lao takes place in a different era but thats it.

@djfine100 Conquest takes place before the movies, and the movies are separate from the games. In a sense, this was a "pre-game" series as well. This Kung Lao is not the one from the games. Rather, this is the Great Kung Lao that defeated Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 550 years before the games. 50 years later, he would be defeated by Prince Goro of the Shokan, winning Outworld the first of 10 victories they would need to merge Earthrealm with their realm.

@BlackMoonEnt Actually Mortal Kombat isn't real it's just a movie. This one (conquest) is a series which depicts the events that takes place "in the movie" years before the events in the movie. The movie in reality came before the series though (reverse). The games came after the movie and before conquest. In "reality" based on the making of these movies Kung Lao which is in conquest is the only Kung Lao and is older than Liu his descendant. In essence conquest should take place before but didnt

U can also look it up on imdb.com MK conquest is a series and not a movie..its a movie series but MK1 is the actual movie which should have came out after conquest since in their reality Lao is the ascendant to Liu but didnt happen that way..the games came before conquest.

Also wrong. the story line is MK konquest then the games . the movies have mixed up evends from the mk 1 2 3 video games. and screwed some things like, Shinok is the father of shoa kahn ??? lol and then Shoa kahn and raiden are brothers rofl..!!! still i enjoyed the movies dont get me wrong.

the reason that there is a kung lao in mk2(video game) is that its not the kung lao you see in the konquest series but A descendant who also has the name kung lao ;)

@mrgilamonyet First MK movie had most of it right, then Annihilation screwed the whole thing up. Edenia is a realm, not a temple!

They use a lot of locations and props from the first movie, which suggests it's a prequel to that time line, though other parts of the series suggest otherwise. Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Realm (the loltastic cartoon) is also part of the movie time line (not counting Annihilation), whereas The Journey Begins is supposed to occur directly before the first game.

@mrgilamonyet I'm not Wrong :-) Shao Khan and Shinock and all those people are relevant and I dont see the mix up with Raiden and him being brothers. Some times it gives the excitement...But the Kung Lao they talk about is suppose to be the one in Conquest which is the original KL whos descendant is Liu Kang. I dont read anywhere where KL who comes after is also a descendant of him with the same name. I know theres KL with the hat and the gear. If you play MK advance u see the same style etc

@mrgilamonyet Also there I think in episode 1 when KL is going to fight Shang Tsung for earth realm in the tournament he actually wears the suit the hat and acts the same and all that just as in MK movie which comes after Liu Kang from which MK advance was made. So its the same KL and its from Conquest..Conquest in essence is the story line for everything but was made after the movie as a series and after the video games.
