How do i create the animation timeline, my photoshop when I click animation there is just a rectangular box that appears on the bottom with no key frames and postions etc
The timeline reminds me of After Effects which I prefer over Flash. Although, what would be the benefit of using PS to animate instead of Flash? Besides the obvious scripting capabilities. Can we transfer the annimations we did into into Flash like illustrator?
@sakuraness You just said it, it comes down to scripting. People who don't want to learn actionscript will love this or even after effects because they can create animations without scripting. If you imported the document into Flash it'll just be a psd document no frames of your animation, although that wouldn't be such a bad idea for Adobe to do in the future. By the way thanks for the support on the channel!
nice simple tutorial for a beginner (animator) like me. I'm not new to photoshop, but have never used the animation feature. Thanks!

This sounds so complicated after using ToonBoom. I'll just hope and pray that I can afford ToonBoom one day. >:/
