I just picked up an 09 wrx hatchback and yes it took a little bit of getting use to the look but now it is growing on me and I love it. It looks dope as hell in the black color I got and blows doors off the ugly ass and boring look of the sedan. Also I think the addition money you pay for the STI is just lame. No way in hell is the STI worth the extra cash over the wrx. Subies own !!

The New 5-Door 09 is the way to go. No other car like it. The Mazda 3 Hatch looks similar but hey it is a Hatch as well. And to say something else.. The older STI's really didn't stand out that much, rather a played out and old looking design. I know alot of people who mistake them for hondas :/ atleast with the new hatch there is something diffrent to look at

Why do people complain so much about the 09? I think it looks and performs great. Fastest and best handling car I have ever owned. My Saab 92x was very sad when I bought my WRX last month.

No idea why they changed the body stlying. At first glance all I could think of is saab, looking at it from the front. Not that thats bad but it's starting to look like a generic shape and loosing its impreza styling. Still a great car anyway. I own my car now but boy its tempting to get one. yeah the 06 it started getting flashy... every 06 (which is what I owned) bottomed out and ruined their front end... I myself did the same thing.. it was too f'n low it was the worse thing to do to the suby it's a rally car not a freaking family car!

ya the suspension is quite soft it could have done with some rally shocks that are harder and ya the 06 was the best suby they ever made and now they have made it so expensive for a car that will be less good for rally drivers
