  • ive tried doing this before and gave up i find stiff leg and leg curls(no full extension contraction range) work for me

    I just don't feel like explaining... basically sldl involve rounding you back, while in rdl you keep the bar close to your shin.

    Anyway, just do the RDL... it's better IMO.

  • I'd be extremely careful with this exercise. Even if you have good form it's still a risky one for pulling a muscle in your lower back.

  • @CdotDixon Yes sir you are are right. This exercise can go wrong very quickly. Definitely an advance movement here. I just had to post this video though. I see it done wrong SOO much at my gym and now i can rest easy knowing i tried to help.

  • It's true what he said people be very careful with this. Start off super light and make sure you feel in in every rep. If you don't know what you are doing you will snap your shit up

  • @inspireself I effed up a nerve when trying dead lifts a few weeks ago. Really want to get back to doing some heavy back work outs but I don't want to cripple myself.
