If you want some speakers for those boxes go to Part Express and look at their site. They have TONS of speakers ranging from $10 for cheap replacements on up to $200 a speaker. I'm sure they might have a sub that'll fit that sub box too. I won't put the link to their since I guess you tube hates that. So just google them.
the new pioneer 10" sub ts-w254r that walmart sells can play in a box from .65 to 1.0 crutchfield suggests a .80 so that box will work great id even keep the stuffing in there theres not alot in there from what i can tell but yeah i think the 10 goes for like 50 60 bucks in that range, and its also has a high sensitivity of 93db so 93% of your amps power will be pound that ten
and REALLY only 30 dollars for those things!!! I just got back from walmart and OMG THOSE ARE SO CHEAP!!! i am so getting those speakers! (No need for an amplifier for im using the speakers in my house)
the scosche is 50watts rms per channel the vr3 was 30watts rms per channel although the vr3 lasted longer durring testing but the end resaults were that the vr3s coils got burnt and thats why they malfunctioned but the scosche only had the voice coil come from the cone
@ShawnontheBLVD - i just bought them today and i was wondering how you put them in as well. i see that you bought them over a month ago, so have you figured it out yet? hoping you can just go right to the stereo.
so how would i go about setting this up in my car using a factory head unit...
i have 2 12" subs and they almost overpower the sound from the stereo,
I drive a 2011 toyota camry so the factory head unit is still crisp and loud, i just wanted to add something like this to help fill out the sound and go louder
@TheTrueLifeChanger at 7:07 i found the speaker on the right in a trashed veichal in a dump next to my house i just went over grabbed it real quick wired it up and what do ya know it worked perfectly (GREAT) mids on that sub man REALLY great and major bass and by the way it was a 12 inch sub when i found it and i even had a box for it and i screwed it in it sounded nice but what size is the sub in this video?
@thebestofall007 I was looking at component speakers to put in one of the boxes, but I could not afford a "high-end" set ... but I would get the ones I think would be best that I could afford ...
Keep the stuffing in the sub box. The stuffing helps the sub perform like it is in a bigger box by slowing down the sound waves inside. It makes a big difference.
I already have a test video of the Scoshe HDFRB6 on my channel now. I will have more videos of it later this hopefully around the end of this month ... I also have a new box that I have already been playing ... check out my channel for all the videos :)
I plan on getting all the empty boxes filled asap :)
i dont give a fuck if its from walmart they thump has af!!

Hey, I just got this same setup today... And I have no idea on how to hook it up. Do I need an amp or can I just run stereo wiring to the unit?

@crmsn1989 the easiest way would be to use a "line out converter" and just run that to the amp
