Texas won because USC blew that game, and Vince was an incredible athlete and great QB, but no one from the SEC could have beat Texas that year either, the SEC is good no one is doubting that, but the enitre conference is not that good, teams like OSU, Texas, and USC would beat most teams in the SEC, like I said earlier the entire conference gets too much credit for the accomplishments of three schools...
