If you look closely, fans of Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons will notice that the guitarist under the hat & all that hair is their future guitarist Tony Faehse. He was the only one to go onto any other band of major note
One of my favourite bands in the 60's in Adelaide. Whatever happened to these guys? Would love to hear their best song "All The People Stare" just one more time!
I saw this clip on YT a while ago ... new post? Anyway thanks. This was an incredible band live, doing very creative, 'heavy' covers of songs that we called 'underground' at the time. Eg Peter Sarsted's 'Take off your Clothes' and Spooky Tooth's 'Sunshine Help Me' (my favourite). The guitar solo in Jackie's Thing hints at the live style. I think Jackie's was intended for commercial success but didn't appeal to their appreciative live audience. I wonder if there's any live material around?
