Yeah, you can get up there. 2 spots you cant get are the reverse side of the dumpster hopup on Crash and outside the window of broken on Backlot.

You jump from the bottom part of the rail, to the bomb, then on top of the tent. It's not too hard, but it's much harder on the 360.

my friend and I discussed this before and decided that if a console player played a pc player at cod4 on a pc, the console player wouldnt do badly. but if they both played on a console, the pc player would have a much harder time, because going from mouse to joystick is pretty hard.

I my opinion, it's not what you're using to control, it's how long you have been using it and how experienced with it you are. These players are clearly playing on the PC version but I did not figure that out by the skill of the players, just by the graphics of the game. I myself am a console player (Xbox 360) and I have pulled some shots like those off. I have CoD4 on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 and the one I played the worst on is PC. Just stating my opinion.

in my opinion (i moved from ps3 to pc) there is a trade off, controllers are easier to use however are more limited, while mosue/keyboard is significantly harder to use. I believe the real talent lies personally in the mouse and keyboard. i do achknowledge through there are some very good and talented console players. by the way thanks for naming the songs i was wondering what songs they were :D

WEll you should try out the community because after i saw one of the videos showing how kids need to get better at CoD4, i compared that to the PS3 community and found it to be much better. Also, overall, montage are mostly created with the 360 as it is more popular and is most likely better even though there are actually a load of very talented people on the PS3. I have experienced it myself as well. I, as a lv 23 no prestige can kill max prestiges easily in S&D.

Yeah that is pretty strange, I play cod on PS3 and I'm pretty sure when it comes to level of competition it goes PC>360>ps3... Ps3 players are more casual just look at the days played on the top of our leader boards vs 360s. Or check out Cevo and Gb to see whats more active. There are ps3 players who have talent, there's no doubt, but most the serious gamers are on pc or 360.

Why do people say that PC players are better than console players? That's ignorant. The PC just has much higher limits with promod, not to mention a mouse/keyboard as opposed to a controller.

The best PC player is miles ahead of the best console player. A mouse and keyboard gives you so much more control and accuracy than a controller. I didn't mean to come off as saying that all console players are terrible but with the console version, the game has to make up for the inaccuracies of the controller, which brings into play autoaim and sometimes larger hitboxes (not necessarily true for CoD 4)

I agree the snipers are played out, in every montage the collaterals are done in the same locations as everybody else, nothing new has come out of it and it's all sniper lobbys because they arent good enough to get these sniper shots in normal games. I am not making a cod4 montage but i will MW2. 40% sniper only because it's mainstream but throw in some normal guns

as for this one it is hard to watch because of excessive editing, to much flash one kill to the next, looks like repeated clips

Yes because I hate SnD and I suck with the keyboard/mouse. If I was good with the keyboard/mouse, it would basically be the same. ProMod is more fun though because it's fast paced and people don't camp like they do on Xbox. I'd rather lay down in my recliner though while playing, so for me Xbox > PC. I just wish Xbox had a ProMod, then they could be level competitively.

Yes, but when mastered, mouse/keyboard > controller. It's easier to aim with a mouse, and you can have much finer movements with a keyboard.

I agree with your Review. An absolutely amazing video done by Mazarini. 1:27 to 1:36 was amazing stuff, with the team ace. Frags were nothing less than great. Nicely synced to a soundtrack that cam't really be hated (Doesn't play to a particular Genre). From what i've seen on other Video's like this posted on youtube, the youtube community are usually negative with CoD4 Promod Frag movies. But also in my opinion, one of the best CoD4 frag videos ive seen.

Sony Vegas mostly. I'm guessing Photoshop to create most of the effects and text. After Effects for the weird stuff (lol) and intro/outro. It looks like he also used a 3d program to create the intro/outro text. Then of course meGUI and x264 to compress everything. He's making a complete "How to Make a FragVid" tutorial due later this year. I'll probably upload it if it's as helpful as I expect.
