i watched ur "house of the rising sun" cover and it was really good.that song includes "two vocal parts" (well, my english isnt good, so i dont know the term for that.. but i mean 3rd or 5th voices added to main vocal note, just like a hormonizer. hope u got what i mean), shortly you were doing that stuff great and you should cover "down in a hole" song.

it is "Alice in chains" i think it is great for your voices, it has two vocal part (main and harmonized back one), too... would be perfect!
